Having political opinions unpopular with the liberal orthodoxy
It’s a forth amendment thing. Illegal search.
I would not be surprised if this gets to SCOTUS and is thrown out 9-0.
Violation of 2nd and 4th amendments, for starters.

That’s what everyone said about NY’s ‘safe act’
The same NY government that wants to dictate your diet, your clothing, your thoughts, your income, your expressions and people worry about robots taking over. Hell, they intend to remake people into libtard robots. Soilent Green?
I have none. Wonder how THAT would go?
What’s a social media history?
A law written by someone who doesn't understand how internet searches work.
Exactly how is someone supposed to turn over three years of internet history? Am I supposed to turn over my PC, Laptop, phone, and any other devices for physical inspection?
oooh, more government slugs on the payroll sitting around reading Facebook postings all day.
Whats a social media history?
Probably being on Free Republic, for one.
They can go to hell.
How do you bust the Constitution?
Ask Social(ist)Media sites. They do it daily.
Violates 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th Amendments!
any posting you make on the Internet i guess- likely facebook, twitter, snapchat etc- NY is claiming that several of the recent school tragedies were committed by people who were posting violent messages, racist messages etc for years- so now they want police to scour the Internet for any ‘violent content’ (as determined by hyperventilating hysterical snowflake liberals)
What about the people who don’t have a FB page?
likely so- they will likely go by6 your Internet ip address-
the NY safe act violated people’s constitutional rights, but NY’s SC found it was ‘legal’ somehow- in their eyes anyways- cuomo put forth the safe act under the guise of ‘imminent need’ in order to ‘save lives’- and they will likely try that with this bill as well-
even places like here, FR- can be deemed a ‘social network’- anyplace people gather and discuss anything
