Georgia runoff election results Dec. 4, 2018
AJC ^ | 04 Dec 2018 | Robert A Cook PE

Only 24% of precincts reporting so far (8:30 pm, EST), and the honest (er, republican) precincts will be least likely to have vote and absentee ballots fraud (er, over-counts and recounts and illegal counts), but the Republican is ahead 64% to 36%.

Less important, the other race for Public Service Commission, the republican is also ahead by the same margin.

Makes sense, there will be almost no ticket splitting in this runoff.

Last precincts to report, as always, will most certainly be the heavy blue districts in Fulton County (Atlanta) and DeKalb County (east Atlanta). The two republicans must be far ahead before those precincts report.

Especially since two precincts in Fulton County had problems starting on time due to issues, so they stayed open late.

He needs to have at least 90% of the vote by the time 100% of the precincts report in otherwise he’s vulnerable to all the ‘sudden influx of newly discovered ballots’ strategy that has become very popular this midterm.

but the Republican is ahead 64% to 36%.

Necessary ballots from Orange County California will arrive late tomorrow morning.Normally they would be there by 10:00 but FEDEX is also experiencing difficulty working around the Bush 41 funeral arrangements.

True. And, as expected, the democrat is cutting into the lead as slower precincts report in.

Secretary of State, General Election Runoff Election, StateCode: GA, State: Georgia
Candidate Party Votes Percentage
Brad Raffensperger GOP 534,770 59%
John Barrow Dem 373,538 41%
Total 908,308

PSC, District 3, General Election Runoff Election, StateCode: GA, State: Georgia
Candidate Party Votes Percentage
Chuck Eaton i GOP 523,061 60%
Lindy Miller Dem 341,729 40%
Total 864,790

The last race is a runoff between two GOP for the GA House: They are essentially tied. Don't have any background on that race, nor how the runoff was setup.

https://results.enr.clarityelections.com/GA/93711/Web02-state.222648/#/

92% reporting

BRAD RAFFENSPERGER (REP) . 54.41% . 658,206
JOHN BARROW (DEM) . 45.59% . 551,461
1,209,667

I don’t think Barrow can make up 107,000 votes with only 8% of the precincts left to report.

Not only that, but the powers that be voted a few weeks back ago that absentee ballots dated as late as Thursday can be counted. So, the dems just have to see how many ballots to create.
