Ending the subsidies is fine but my prediction is the Elon Bashing will not diminish so much as 0.00001%

It has a life of it’s own, a lot like the Ann Coulter bashing.

Subsidies were the worst idea ever. It goes back at least to solar panels in the 1970s. If these new technologies were viable, private investment would finance them. If private investment financed them, they’d either find a way to make the endeavors viable or abandon them.

About damn time....

BUT,
There are lots of limo libs and millionaires making a damned good living off of these subsidies. They are not going to take this well.

Cut the subsidies during budget reconciliation, as a bill payer for the border wall funding increase.

Since GM is now going to make them in China, there is no longer a reason for a US subsidy.

Since Obama illegally violated bankruptcy laws and transferred control of GM to his crony union thugs, GM has been working to advance the interests of the Dems ChiCom overlords, transferring technology, production and jobs.

Let the Chicoms throw their good money after bad, subsidizing every green “good idea” they can dream up. We could spend our money on good solid border barrier instead.

Lets support an industry that was a scam from the start. Oil and natural gas are used to create electricity, what a ponzy scheme

The U.S. was the only country at the G20 summit over the weekend not to sign onto the 2015 Paris Climate Accords.

... and the only one that is on target to meet the goals of that accord.

Why is it that certain groups just can’t understand there is no reason to believe the crap about human-caused climate change. Apparently they think they can change it even if it is NOT human caused. Well,I’d put my money on what Pres.Trump is doing(if I had any).

Should never have been subsidies on these items in the first place. Same goes for the ethanol industry if they are still receiving any.

Yesterday, driving down from the mountains in Colorado, I passed a Tesla stuck in bumper to bumper traffic as I zoomed by in the espresso toll lane. I thought to myself, “guy spends a zillion dollars on a Tesla but won’t spend $7 for the toll lane. Amazing. “
