Specifically, Cheney pointed to members of the incoming class of congressional Democrats who may implore likely House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., to take up such an agenda.
"We have a lot of Democrats now coming in who are socialists. I'm not exaggerating, they are socialists," Cheney said during a panel on Fox News Sunday. "And I think that it's very important that we actually do have very aggressive and clear policy debates. We've got to make sure that we understand the grave national security threat that's out there, as well as the threat that we're facing from the perspective of our debt.
"And the socialist set of agendas, set of issues, which I think leader Pelosi is probably going to be compelled to have to push forward, are ones that would be disastrous for the nation. So I think we've got to fight and fight hard on those issues."
Cheney will serve as the next chairwoman of the House Republican Conference, the No. 3 leadership position in the GOP minority set to be seated in Congress next year. It is the same position her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, held in 1987 before he was promoted to minority whip a year and a half later.
Cheney, who was first elected to Congress in 2016, will help steer the Republican conference's communications and public relations strategy as its chairwoman in a political environment in which self-proclaimed democratic socialists Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., have elevated liberal priorities

This is now....I choose not to base Liz’s performance on the past. She can be a pit bull and if she’s going up against the socialist agenda Pelosi intends to put out there then I’m all for her. It’s going to be interesting to see how she does.
Well that may be....but lets just see what she does. She’s nobodies puppet from what I’ve observed.
I don’t really care if or not she’s conservative.....if she fights the good fight I’ll be in her corner. Talk is cheap as we know but I’m willing to wait and see.
