Federal workers warned: Advocating Trump impeachment not allowed until second term

Federal workers may violate Hatch Act restrictions on "political activity" if they urge President Trump's impeachment as he seeks re-election, according to a government office that enforces the law.

If the president is not seeking re-election, however, advocating impeachment would not be banned, the Office of the Special Counsel said in new guidance circulated by email Tuesday.

"Advocating for a candidate to be impeached, and thus potentially disqualified from holding federal office, is clearly directed at the failure of that candidate's campaign for federal office," the office said.

I know of a Federal MANAGER who advocated for impeaching him right when he got in (actually said more than that, but not going to post it here). No joke. Those people are unaccountable. Even if they do, nothing will be done. Nothing. I promise. You can’t touch them.

For this to become a loudly stated NEW POLICY, the situation must have become truly out of control. Lot’s of partisan bullying, intimidation and disruption going on.
Good luck enforcing this rule.

You can bet the Resistance Zombies will test it out, to see if this is only bluster, or will anyone really suffer a negative consequence for trashing Trump at the work place. Many will need to revamp their entire routines at the workplace. Their whole day may have been built around TrumpHate, and expressions thereof on CNN.

Fascinating that the Office of the Special Counsel now seems to be a self appointed Fourth Branch of Government.

Guess Bobby and Rodney decided they were in charge and that’s all it takes.

Oddly, I don’t recall my ancestors shooting at British officers in North Carolina over a concept like that. Believe they thought the People were sovereign, and they get to decide who will govern us.

We should have advocated Zero’s impeachment for eight years 24/7! Now, we have a script to use devised by the Marxist RATs. Do unto others as they do unto you.

“If the president is not seeking re-election, however, advocating impeachment would not be banned,”

Wouldn’t it be funny if the President announced one month before his re-election vote he withdrew his name from the ballot.
