No sooner than the squishy RINO Ryan steps down for re-election another empty suit RINO Kevin McCarthy gets voted in. I looked but cannot see who voted for him. Anyone know where to find a roll call of the vote for House minority leader between Jim Jordan and Kevin McCarthy?

Some may call me “Captain Obvious”, but it is my belief that Ryan is setting himself up to run against Trump in 2020.

He'd be a fool to do so. RINOs get no small portion of their strength from the perception that there is a large but quiet massive underlying support for the Paul Ryans, Howard Bakers and John Kasichs of this world. When any of them go up against Trump, he'll get less .... a LOT less than Pat Buchanan did against George the Elder in New Hampshire (38%).

“it is my belief that Ryan is setting himself up to run against Trump in 2020.”

A Ryan/Flake ticket? Spare me. My mute button is being overworked with Obama and Hillary “out there” so much now. I don’t think it can take Ryan and/or Flake in two years.

2024 more likely. 2020 will be speeches and the democrat ABCNNBCBS TV press corpse.

I doubt it. He’s only 48. I assume he is thinking he can lay low for 10 years and then run again. He absolutely did not want to fight for a MAGA agenda and because of that he is DOA in GOP politics for the foreseeable future.

Bipartisanship is the “pixie dust” of politicians who have been in Washington DC too long.

Bipartisanship is agreeing to whatever Democrats want. That it, basically.

The IQ of a turnip or he is really a full-on RAT.
He sure did spend serious time attacking his own Party while he was best buds with Obama and Hillary.

Speaker Ryan fails yet again.

Dear Paulie,

Find a nice lake up in Vilas County and just go fishin'.

Run against Trump? With what? His accomplishments?
Failed VP rummage no mate
Failed house majority leader
Didn’t get the wall built
Didn’t get the budget straightened out
Didn’t have the balls to stand with the Trump agenda.
Passed tax cuts. Whoopie.

I’m glad Ryan is out of the congress. But he’s like Flake and herpes. They don’t ever really go away.

Yea, but it is important to stay active in the Republican primaries though the outcomes are often suspect.
