One of the Donald Trump’s top political allies in New Jersey says that Assembly Minority Leader Jon Bramnick (R-Westfield) could face a primary challenge if he doesn’t stop bashing Trump.
Nutley Commissioner Steve Rogers says that when Republicans like Bramnick bash Trump, they hurt the GOP brand.
“Our party must return to its conservative roots-roots that are embedded in the Constitution,” Rogers told the New Jersey Globe. “I have been all over New Jersey and I find a hunger and thirst among Republicans as well as conservative Democrats and independents for a return to the values we embraced years ago.”

I like Bramnick, he is a suburban conservative.
Trump is just not well liked in NJ, for some reason.
He needs to fight for every vote.
Trump needs to get out more in the suburbs and talk to people. People want to SEE the president, not just hear him on Twitter.

Bramnick either needs to get with the program or get our of the way. Trump is the future of the party. There is no alternative or to simply become Democrats.

Bramnick has not faced a primary challenge since 2009.
Perhaps Bramnick has gotten too used to sitting back and running unopposed. The times they are a changing. Jon Bramnick, protect yourself.
