It seems with each week FOX News loses a little more respect from its conservative and pro-Trump base.

Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace told President Trump that he is viewed as a “beacon for repression around the world” because of his repeated attacks against the press.
Wallace made the statement to Trump while conducting a sit-down interview with the president that was aired on Sunday. In it, Wallace pressed Trump about his rhetoric in regard to the media, noting that most presidents haven’t like the coverage of their administrations.

When politics, the economy, current events or other items related to government come up, I like to just gush at whoever I am speaking with about the great job that President Trump is doing. One Hundred Percent positive and if any caution is displayed by those I am with I bowl them over with positive points.

What Wallace said to PDJT was that those who really do seek to suppress & control the press are using the same lines as PDJT is to discredit the media in their own countries.
To a large degree, that statement by Chris Wallace is correct. There are in fact leaders in other countries using the term "fake news" and discrediting the media in their own countries as a way to cement their own power.
PDJT's response that he cannot control what other people say was exactly correct. Wallace seemed to be somewhat stunned/taken back by that for a second or two before the interview moved on.
Overall I'd say PDJT did very well, didn't take any crap and when appropriate seemed to genuinely disapprove of Wallace carrying the rest of the lying liberal lamestream media's water.
