TENSIONS turned to violence as Tijuana police attempted to manage protesters to the Migrant caravan hoping to claim asylum in the US.
As the migrant caravan draws closer to US it has become more pressing in both Mexican and American politics.
Donald Trump tweeted about Mexico’s inability to deal with the many migrants staying and passing through the country.
He said: “The Mayor of Tijuana, Mexico, just stated that the city is ill-prepared to handle this many migrants, the backlog could last 6 months.
“Likewise, the US is ill-prepared for this invasion and will not stand for it, they are causing crime and big problems in Mexico, Go home.”
In a separate tweet the US President express the need for more severe methods in dealing with the onslaught of migrants.
He tweeted: “Catch and Release is an obsolete term. It is now Catch and Detail. Illegal immigrants trying to come into the US, often proudly flying the flag of their nation as they ask for US asylum, will be detained or turned away.
“Democrats must approve Border Security and Wall NOW.”
Some of the protesters were very vocal about their disdain for the migrant caravan, including Esther Monroy, 58.
She said: “Most of us in this area depend on business from people coming and going across the border.
“If they close it, it will be the migrant's fault,” “Most of them are criminals anyway.
“If the government can’t control all this, organised crime and drug cartels will.
“We don’t care who does it, but they have to take responsibility for these people.”

The Mexican government needs to bus them back over their southern border.
Or they can build a tent city away from TJ and sustain it forever.
He doesn’t need approval, he needs the money.

Northbound lanes at the San Ysidro Port of Entry were closed this morning.
To get a big project like that done you must persuade lots of people and get them on board. Many in Congress were never going to support the wall no matter what Trump did. In any event Trump didn’t get it done and now dems run the House so its over.

What will happen to the people that have come thousands of miles from their homes, many aided by food supplies, transportation, etc., when they realize they won’t get into America. With no help for their journey back many will probably die.
Most Americans are opposed to assuming responsibility for free loading illegal immigrants as well.
The U.S. Border Patrol temporarily closed all northbound lanes at the busy San Ysidro Port of Entry today as the U.S. continues to “position additional port hardening materials.”
Given the insistence by top U.S. officials that the migrants will not simply be allowed to enter the U.S., the crowds in Tijuana may wait six months for their asylum claims to be heard. The numbers in TJ could soar past 10,000 people.
The first time I have ever cheered on the drug cartels. They can turn around and walk back home.
How about a GofundMe type of account or some alternative that won’t be shut down by lefties.
