Yeah, it was certainly not an ideal outcome, though realistically, not sure what would’ve been. But from my perspective we did OK. The left doesn’t accept the validity of the natural born citizenship clause in the first place (or the Constitution or citizenship for that matter), so they would’ve preferred it just to be a silly side issue that could be completely ignored. And it was for four years, until they actually had no choice but to do something going into the 2012 election. So they put out the photo-shopped long form, contradicting everything that they had been saying for the previous four years about it having already been released. This exposed the depths of their treachery to a lot of people, and solidified a base for Trump. Maybe without that, Trump never would’ve had the traction nor staying power that carried him through the primaries, and we would’ve ended as predicted with Jeb!, who would’ve lost miserably to Hillary. I don’t think that’s a far-fetched scenario, and if it’s at all true, it was a very significant set of events.

I heard speculation about a Trump run for many years and thought the idea was absurd but well before he cinched the nomination I knew that he was nothing like I thought and nothing like any other candidate. When I realized that he really did not worry about how his words might offend some people I jumped aboard the Trump train, when many around me were saying that they would vote for Trump but they knew that in the end Hillary would be elected because ALL the women would vote for her I told them I did not believe that. In the end she was so bad as a candidate that, as Trump said, she could not even win a RIGGED election. She even became a senator from New York state by election rigging. She has not one single real accomplishment that I can name other than being a criminal.
