Arizona Republican Party Announces Independent Audit of Maricopa County Elections
Big League Politics ^ | Nov 16, 2018 | Richard Moorhead

The Arizona Republican Party announced it would be conducting an independent and private audit of the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office performance in the 2018 election, after the performance of the Democrat County Recorder was widely criticized on numerous procedural and legal grounds.

In a press release, the State Party Chairman, Jonathan Lines, announced that he had asked Stephen Richer, a Phoenix attorney with substantial history in public and private audits and investigations of major organizations, to oversee the project.

This comes after the Maricopa County Recorder’s office- the county’s election division led by Democratic donor Adrian Fontes- has become a target of suspicion and criticism among election integrity hawks for numerous reasons, including taking a whopping six days to release enough ballot returns for the outcome of the competitive Arizona Senate election to be decided in favor of Democratic candidate Kyrsten Sinema. As of today- November 15th- a total of nine days since election night- ballot returns are still being released by the County Recorder.

That’s enough time to make Maricopa County hands down the slowest and most inefficient county in accurately counting ballot returns in the United States, lagging behind other large counties with similar populations.

It will be interesting when all of the illegal election activities are eventually exposed.

It is most important that is be fixed so it never happens again.

Mail in ballots allows voting fraud.

Seems unlikely that AZ Republican won by 300k votes, and then AZ voted overwhelmingly for the Dim blonde ditz.

Look up the website ‘Our Revolution’. Fontes WAS and may still be (haven’t checked it lately) highlighted on it. You know where his loyalties lie, and he said he was a ‘man of the Constitution’. Typical lying Dem. I’d love for this voting fraud to be exposed so ‘it never happens again’. Meanwhile, we now have a wacko Leftist (who of course lied in every ad) representing us for 6 years in the Senate. So a day late and several dollars short.

Would you mind translating that sentence for those of us in other states who speak English?

“Would you mind translating that sentence for those of us in other states who speak English?”

Well, I did omit the word “governor”, so I can see how you may have been confused. It has been posted that AZ governor won by a substantial margine, I believe ~300k votes. How then, logically, does Dem Sinema win that state?

“Mail in Ballots allows voting fraud”....I agree. All Mail in Ballots should be restricted to absentee members of the Military. Early voting should be done away with also. Election Day should be a Holiday and all voters should be required to vote in person and be registered to vote in their District and produce a picture ID. I am not sure those requirements will eliminate fraud entirely, but it will go a long way towards it.

Thank you!
As for me being “confused”, trust me, it doesn’t take much until at least my ninth cup of coffee. :)

Since you pride yourself as being a Fossil May I remind you of some terrific history that is repeating itself in this election cycle?

The great International Progressive, Born in Georgia, Uncle Joe Stalin said it well and long ago

It matters not who votes, it only matters WHO Counts the votes

The International Progressives (AKA members of the Democrat Party) being the re-incarnation of Uncle Joe, are the people who are doing the Counting

“Democrat County Recorder...”

You don’t have to investigate any further than that to find the problem.

"How then, logically, does Dem Sinema win that state?"

By successfully claiming to be a moderate. By having an opponent who took 51% in the primary just 6 weeks before the voting started, while she could run ads all summer with a budget 2-3 times that of McSally. By running ads boasting about how often she voted with Trump. And by running IN Arizona, rather than sitting in DC and waiting for Hannity & President Trump to carry her across the finish line!

McSally grossly underperformed the Gov in every county I've looked at - including very conservatives ones. The Gov almost carried Pima County, where libs always get most of their votes.

Sinema WORKED for votes. McSally ASSUMED them.

No argument. They simply must be held accountable for their crimes. And prevented from repeating them.

Whatever it takes.

And if the dinosaur Sheriff Joe would have stayed on the porch a real candidate would have won the primary.

President Trump pardoned the old geezer and this is how he repays him. Dickhead.

Greg Abbott got around 500k more votes than Ted Cruz did in Texas this election.

If Sheriff Joe hadn’t played the sucker, the GOP-E would have gotten another couple of candidates to split the conservative vote. Once he joined in the primary, it was obvious McSally would win. I know a lot of folks who didn’t vote in the primary because they saw no purpose to it.

We’ll never know what would have happened if Kelli Ward had run. My guess is the state GOP would have donated money to Sinema! The Cheap Labor Express controls 30% of the GOP voters in Arizona and 75% of the cash. And they (like McCain) will attack conservative republicans with a bitterness they never turn on their democrat friends.

Possible tampering aside... This is an honest realistic summary you share here.

The funds had a lot to do with it, and most of this came from out of state sources. If conservatives want to keep up with this successful liberal agenda they need to do the same. They need to start donating where it is needed most “in the whole” no mater what state a very important race happens to be in.

Same with legal funds in certain law precedent cases. The “ain’t in my state so why should I care” perspective is not working, in the end it affects us all universally. This election proves this reality and is an example of why they are pulling ahead everywhere.
