I pity them but that’s it. Their home countries need to shape up. That is why very generous America gives millions in foreign aid, loans and other incentives. That being said, America has a legal process of immigration. Those who feel that breaking American law as an illegal immigrant right off the bat is obscene.
...... I wonder if the Movers and Shakers EVER counted or considered the Cost, Blowback, Attitude and Reaction of the Citizens of the Countries they are Manipulating and Plundering?

Tijuana is where lots of migrants from South and Central America wind up. They get that far intending to reach the U.S., and for many reasons just sort of stall in TJ, working in various ways trying to save up more money. There is plenty of opportunity to do just that, because TJ is where the worst elements of both cultures, U.S and Mexican, seem to concentrate and flourish. I am sure that the last thing those already there want is competition from another wave of ten or twenty thousand displaced migrants.
They treated you nice because they were helping you move to next town.

Tijuana has an extremely high murder rate too. I recently read it was over 2100 this year and it isn’t over with yet. Makes Chicago look like Disney Land.
They do tend to leave Americans alone simply because of the dinero brought in by Americans.
already, in Tijuana, the ‘listkeepers’ have a 6-week backlog for an appointment for asylum. Hispanics run the list and choose who’s turn it is. If a listkeeper comes up for an appointment, then they pick a new listkeeper to take their place. I doubt the migrants will be advanced to the front of the 6-week minimum wait line or that any one of them will be selected as a listkeeper. So they are all in for a very long wait.

No, they are a threat to the cross-border commerce and tourism that is the life blood of Tijuana. The vast majority of the residents of Tijuana are not there to immigrate to the USA, but to make a living. Not only are the migrants a burden on the Tijuanans, but their presence in large numbers will impede legal crossing and commerce, as well as bring crime and violence beyond what they already deal with.

The caravan was treated well as long as they continued on their way. You ain’t seen nothing until these ‘migrants’ are stuck in Tijuana waiting for their hearings. Could be up to 6 weeks. With no money.
