Pastor Antonio Rocquemore of Power House International Ministries in Chicago, Illinois, is coming under fire from advocates of the LGBTQ community for publicly rebuking a male member who came to his church dressed as a woman Sunday night.

In response, Rocquemore said the male member had been repeatedly warned that he would not be allowed to dress like a female during worship service.

Almost misleading headline. To me “under fire” hints that the Pastor was facing some kind of disciplinary action. It appears it’s just the usual suspects whining and crying. (as usual)

To keep things sorted when reading news articles it is helpful to use the word “fake” when “trans” is included in the writing.
It is also helpful to keep in mind we are talking 0.0000000001% of the human population or less.
Media makes it seem a quarter of the people you encounter in normal everyday life are amazingly transgender. It is VERY rare.

Not a really difficult decision when you are following Scripture and not the winds of emotion and public opinion.

A challenge churches may face is what to do when a victim of gender dysphoria who has had surgery becomes a Christian. They will natural have lots of questions and doubts. How does the church treat them, as their surgically chosen physical gender, or how God made them.

I know of one church that had to deal with this years ago. Because of the radical sexual background of the individual, they, probably with his assent made sure he was never alone in the church property. I don’t know how it all turned out.

But for those who think they are another gender, or a donkey or a squirrel, the church leadership is correct to remove them from being a massive distraction.

I imagine having a chromosome check for Xs and Ys would be of help in clearing up confusion on what’s what - or who’s what, no?

There was a time when such checks couldn’t be made so when you had the these rare cases back in the day and you had cases where someone could actually be “a woman trapped in the body of a man” (and vice versa). The doctors just had go by their best guess.
