Merrie Melodies/Looney Tunes were national treasures as far as I’m concerned. Can’t think of too many things that 5 year olds and 95 year olds both dig so much. Maybe the Stooges.

I’ve always heard good things about the animated star trek.

Moral #2 - If at first you don't succeed, blame it on your parents.
Hollywood is leftist.
To a leftist, everything is political and thus becomes propaganda, so they feel compelled to make sure it is the right (wrong) kind.
Come to think of it, George Lucas had a similar view based on what Ian McDiarmid (aka, the guy who played Emperor Palpatine) said here: https://www.theguardian.com/stage/2005/nov/07/theatre1
And that’s certainly backed up by something Lucas said about how history is “fiction” in this interview with Wired: https://www.wired.com/2005/05/lucasqa/
I think Hideo Kojima also indicated something similar when discussing some things about what his themes were in the Metal Gear series: https://web.archive.org/web/20170830214137/http://www.rollingstone.com/glixel/features/kojima-death-stranding-aims-to-be-a-new-sort-of-game-of-war-w499148
