I lived in Italy through all the obozo years. And the Italians all loved obozo. I could never figure it.

Amen. There is no real military threat to Europe. If there were, maybe the Yurps would actually spend the money needed to defend themselves but they don’t. Obviously they don’t feel threatened. Why the hell should we spend taxpayer money to defend people who are wealthy enough to defend themselves and who obviously don’t feel threatened enough to provide adequately for their own defense?

Withdraw from NATO. Bring the Boys home. We should’ve done this a generation ago.

I made some trips to SHAPE as well at CENTCOM at Ramstein in the 1992 timeframe. I still have my copy of "Teach Yourself Polish" as prelude to helping relocate NATO activities to Poland. I'll probably retire in the next 5 years, so I'm not anticipating participation in a move now. I have been polishing my Welsh skills each evening. C'est la vie.
