I think the President should end press briefings completely and use Twitter until a .gov site can be established to take questions from everyone, not just libs posing as reporters, and select the questions he wants to answer and put out a written reply on the site. No opportunity for childish scum to push around interns in a struggle to keep the microphone.

Maybe they should issue Jim Acosta a pacifier with a wrap-around locking chain. Also give him a blue-light so when he needs to ask a question, someone can unlock his pacifier.

Fox used to be my go-to channel for news. Now, I seldom watch it and never for news (e.g. Laura Ingraham once in a while). Fox seems hell bent on joining the parade of stupid talking heads.

Agree. This is not a 1st Amendment issue, Freedom of the press, etc. this is about Acosta’s conduct in the news room and intimidating the young intern. As an employee of CNN Acosta embarrassed his employer in a public forum and should have been terminated.

OAN is conservative, though not very polished. There’s always CRTV. It’s cheaper than buying a package through some outfit, just so you can get Fox.

It's been two years since I cut my cable and it's still one of the best decisions I ever made. My stress level is down and I feel so much healthier. My blood pressure is normal and I've read a lot of good books. Because I get my news pure and unadulterated from Twitter feeds, FR and other online sources, I'm even better informed.

I was visiting with family recently and they had the boob tube on nonstop. I quickly found that I had trouble concentrating and was getting distracted. I finally asked them if they could just shut the thing off during my visit.

Ditto for me, cannot listen to the (especially female) hosts at Fox anymore. They are boring and all sound the same. And I learn nothing.
