There’s no reason we would hear about it if the race wasn’t close.
I believe Fla, ARZ and other states were just a dry run with 2020 being the prize. The dems were seeing what works and what does not - 2020 should be interesting

OH, yes, you are right. Poll watchers are volunteers from each political party who observe what is going on and can report to their HQ if they see something amiss.
Poll workers actually take the voters through the process. I have never done that. It is a great thing to volunteer for, though. I admire the people who do that.

There’s the issue of exit polls etc. People who ‘don’t want to see what’s happening’ (like the press) would have a harder time buying democrat lies if they started fraud with races where a Republican was up by 15 - and still lost.
It would draw unwanted attention ... to people who work in the shadows.
