Martha McSally was a #NeverTrumper before the 2016 election.

She refused to attend the Republican convention. But Paul Ryan really liked her.

Conservative radio host and author Mark Levin told his audience on Monday that McSally refused to go on his show.

Interesting. McSally booster Hugh Hewitt this am is saying that McSally lost because Mormon’s were mad at Trump for dissing Flake, and took it out on McSally. No sources or evidence, no mention of her history re: Trump and conservatism. I guess he just made it up.

Jon Kyl has said he doesn't want the job after December, so McSally may go to Washington even before Sinema.

(If, win or lose, you still get the job, how hard would you campaign for it?)

Not sure the combination of McSally + Sinema is any worse than McCain + Flake. At least Sinema admits she is a Democrat.

no one gets “given” the seat after Kyl. Kyl is supposed to serve out til 2020 election. Someone commented yesterday Kyl was only taking seat til January - Ridiculous of him to take the seat for 2 yrs and not complete it unless unexpected death or some thing like it.
