The 100 year anniversary of Armistice Day was celebrated this weekend in France. Several world leaders attended the event including President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.
During Emmanuel Macron’s speech the King of Morocco fell asleep during Emmanuel Macron’s speech. President Trump stared him down.

He’s got a choice... can stare down Morocco for sleeping, and then turn around and stare down Merkel for listening to rap on her earbuds.
i cannot wait until the state of the union address when he clears the hall and moves the rest of the speech to trump tower, when RBG falls asleep... then when she wakes up she’ll be like ... what? where is everyone? am i dead?

That makes for a good headline, but my President himself will often violate protocol here and there, not that I really care. I like his boldness. Mr Trump may have been ‘staring down’ the King of Morocco and maybe he wasn’t.
The Donald may have grown tired of hearing Angela Merkels’ earbuds yelling reports to her in High German. Notice, she never took those earphone out during the ceremony, not with her being so busy and popular and everything.
I’m glad Melania could accompany him on this visit.
As always, she was the most beautiful woman in the picture.
Trump was probably wishing he could get some sleep during that pompous ass Macron’s speech.
I think Trump was just making sure the king didn’t list the wrong way...

Well, to be fair, I might fall asleep too if I had to listen to Manny Macaroni give a speech.
That is the First Lady of France, Brigitte Macron.
Smiling doesn’t always happen easily for her.
A resolved grimace is what she usually shows.
The boys behind him do not appear that interested as well.
How do you stare down someone who is asleep? Don’t they have to be looking at you in order to be stared down?
