Here’s a good exam question.
1. True or False?
Cheating and Teaching are anagrams of each other.
Heh-heh-heh...sounds just like NYC schools.
There are actually some very good schools in Gauteng.
TXnMA
No and stop being ridiculous!
I misread your post, at first...SORRY.
Yep. Thus exam is big stuff. I recently had a ZA educator as a resume client. One of her brags was the number of students she prepared for successful exams.
Why do we care about a cheating scandal in South Africa when our country is being stolen from us in a real time cheating scandal?
The education story, in RSA, is something that few people outside of that nation now anything about and going back to the Soweto Riots of '76 ( which was about blacks being encouraged by the stinking COMMIE ANC ), which, in its way, caused the WEST to start condemning the whites there.
In '76, they whole very idiotic DEMAND that blacks be taught in their own tribal languages, instead of English or Afrikaans, when there were not enough QUALIFIED black teachers who spoke all of the different black tribal languages was crazy!
First of all, not being able to understand or speak the two major languages that business was/is done in there and especially English, which is used world wide, kept/keeps those who can't/don't speak them down.
Secondly, insisting on having UNQUALIFIED teachers, solely because they are 1) black 2) can speak a relatively unusable language 3) self segregating and then complaining about all of those things being what's keeping blacks "downtrodden", is sheer INSANITY!
Then ignore the threads, here, about what’s happening in other parts of the world; even though it IS important to know about.
It’s nice when threads like this are posted there is a referebce to what part of the world we are talking about even if the OP post the area on the first posting line of the opened thread. That way those of us that don’t wish to read the thread can have some idea what part of the world we are discussing without having to plow through the material or search. Some posters here believe Freepers are all knowing and have every city in every county in every state in every country on the planet in the very tip of their memory banks. While I could see that as a compliment by assigning that level of intelligence to we here, the practice of not identifying regions in posts is one of the most annoying things about this place.
This article was taken from a RSA ( Republic of South Africa ) source, hence the "za" at the end of the link, so IF you had looked at the source, you would have been able to know just WHERE it was from.
No, everyone here is not expected to know EVERYTHING; however, it is ore likely than not, that at least one FReeper is going to know about the topic. :-)
OTOH...by reading just a few or the replies, you could easily know where this took place, learned even MORE facts, and broadened your knowledge. Or...you could, as you have done, just posted complaints. :-)
Oh.....and it is against FR rules to change the title of any article, hence no, the posted did it correctly and should NOT have added that this was from RSA, in the title.
I said added on the first posting line. Many others here have complained about these omissions too.
Ok, sorry I should have known I was required to know all web address suffixes as well, thanks for clarifying. Also I was perhaps the first to access the thread after you posted it even though it didn’t appear that way. The reason it didn’t appear that way is I spent time researching to find out what the posting was about before I replied. So thank you for edifying me and wasting my time.
You are the ONLY one complaining about the "omission", on this thread!
I've NEVER seen anyone ever complain about such a thing, on any thread in 20+ years !
It was explained, BY ME, in a post, just WHERE this was and then, in a later post, I explained it all directly to you! But I guess that just wasn't enough info to suit you. Pity that.....
You "wasted" your own time, many times over, by posting your pathetic replies, instead of thanking me for supplying you with interesting info.
