Mrs. Ginsberg will retire only when she reaches room temperature, and not a minute sooner.
Is she really asleep or do they just wheel her in for photo ops.
It will eventually feel better after it stops hurting.
While I don’t agree with her politics I must wish her a good recovery. I don’t think RBG is a bad person just wrong headed.
Broken ribs aren’t fun been there done that. Breathing can be difficult and it’s hard to move around and hinders sleep. Winter is coming on, not a good time for old people to have injuries that make it hard to breath!
I can’t imagine living with the pain of broken ribs at her age.

Mortality in patients with rib fractures is high in older adults (20% mortality with 3-4 fractures).
Risk factors for death include age >65 years, ≥3 fractures, underlying CHF, and development of pneumonia.
I wish RBG a quick recovery and many good years with her family after she retires, the sooner the better.

It’s hard to believe she’d even try to go back to work until her ribs are healed. And, it takes six weeks for broken ribs to heal.

The way she was injured also raises questions about her health. Did she black out because of a heart issue or for some other reason?
A healthy person would likely find a way to break a fall before cracking three ribs in this situation.
God is with. First the Senate results. Sessions gone. Baldwin’s parking space fight and tv show cancellation. RBG falls right after election and before her movie debuts on Thanksgiving Day.
I broke a rib in a fall on the first day of a Utah ski trip many years ago. I wasn't going to let it ruin the long-planned and expensive trip so I skied with it for the rest of the week. Talk about pain.
