Can’t trust the news networks, we know that.

Didn’t work now in this midterms with their “fired up” base then it will backfire even more in 2020.
yes i know they won the house and they will declare a mandate, hell the left does that even when they lose that’s how arrogant and delusional they are, but in the end their blue wave didn’t come through regardless of the facade they and the media will put on about tonight.

They will immediately launch numerous investigations. By midsummer they will launch an impeachment that will be 24/7 on the news until the election cycle begins. Foreign policy will grind to a stop. And they will crash the economy. They can do a hell of a lot more than just make noise.

I don't think so.

The big deal for the economy is cutting regulations and red tape for business. President Trump can do this without the House, and he will. The House alone can not pass any law.

Our route to winning in 2020 is through a great economy, conservative judicial appointments and a strong military. Losing the House will force DJT to concentrate on the first two items and push for more military budget.

But the big deal is that he can have a roaring economy and a great judiciary by 2020. And, a ready made campaign issue when the RATs obstruct everything else.

There may be a setback on the southern wall, but don't count him out on that. He can do 1800 miles of razor wire with no RAT participation. If it strengthens the economy, as it surely will, a real wall is a great campaign issue for 2020.

He campaigns on the fact that he promised a wall, but the obstruction was so strong that all he could do was razor wire. Give him some more support in congress and he will give us a wall...

“Its hard in Los Angeles...but I will figure out a way to get more involved.”

I hear ya, I’m in S CA also, but as a friend of mine likes to remind people: there are more conservatives and registered Republicans in CA than any other state (cuz CA largest population state) and we are at least tied with Texas in Republicans voting. Unfortanately CA is swamped by Dems, largely ethnic block voting, Hispanics and Blacks-makes up 45% of state

They will immediately launch numerous investigations.

We've been having those all along. What changes?

By midsummer they will launch an impeachment that will be 24/7 on the news until the election cycle begins.

Let them impeach. Do they have 2/3 of the Senate?

Foreign policy will grind to a stop.

The House has nothing to do with foreign policy.

And they will crash the economy.

What damaging legislation can they pass in the House, that would be passed in the Senate, and then ultimately signed by the POTUS?

They can do a hell of a lot more than just make noise.

Like what?

True that we can’t trust the big news companies. They say what the oligarchs of the world pay them to say. Their journalists and reporters come from activist programs in universities, also much controlled by the oligarchs (influential alumni and all) and administrators (also known as “lifetime students”).

Yes Democrats will launch investigations and the press will continue to cover it. As far as foreign policy is concerned, Trump did do some foreign policy stuff without Congress approval. He moved the U.S. embassy in Israel despite most of the foreign policy experts saying that was a bad ideal. He has a new trade agreement (though not ratified) with Mexico and Canada. As far as crashing the economy, Democrats may block a budget from being passed. Trump can simply say that Democrats will be blamed for failure of a budget passing. People remember McCain pointing his thumb down in voting down Obama care repeal.

Something to keep in mind is that Pelosi is 78, Waters is 80, and Feinstein is 85.

Ginsberg is 85 and Beyer is 80, and IIRC he’s got health issues already.

None of the Assoc. justices are spring chickens either.

People don’t live forever.

I’d say there’s a reasonable chance that some attrition is going to be happening over the next few years.

For my part, although I will not pray for evil to befall someone, or that they would die, I am praying that God would remove them by whatever means He sees fit.

How is it that he is Pelosi’s bitch? She is the one who will get nothing done.

Without the senate impeachment means nothing. They will be labeled obstructionist and take the damage for that.

A Democrat majority in the House will be much like the following and have about as much effect.

Wang Rong Rollin - Chick Chick

Kind of like a little box of weirdos with a big, fat amplifier and speaker on it.

With the Senate we have now, we’ll usher in the Patriarch again, and rule over anti-family freaks for the rest of their unnatural lives.

It’s getting late. Little correction of my keyboard fumbling here.

With the Senate we have now, we’ll see many new, righteous justices and judges, usher in the Patriarchy again and shut the anti-family freaks up for the rest of their unnatural lives.

I predict we’re going to see two years without a Federal budget — and one continuous funding resolution after another. It’s going to be 2010-2016 all over again.

Impeachment proceedings would be like a campaign forum for President Trump to take more than two-thirds of the House in 2020 to add to his next term. I’m sure that the birdbrain faction in the House is welcome to do that. Even Pelosi knows better, which proves that even old birds can learn something if advised enough times.

Pelosi: Any Impeachment Move ‘Would Have To Be Bipartisan’

She warned Democrats against it several times before, too.

Actually, the 1994 elections were very much like 2018. I believe 1992 was the last election cycle when Congressional candidates were allowed to keep their unused campaign funds, and as a result of that, there were a lot of Democrat retirements leading up to 1994. You also had a major Congressional postal scandal going on then — which later landed long-time Democrat fixture Dan Rostenkowski in prison.
