A layman here but it is not at all difficult to imagine the programs that run the voting machines can be tuned to produce the same results as those in Las Vegas. Seems a competent programmer can write something incapable of tampering that would authenticate the machines operation.
My solution is that the machine shows a ballot number and immediately prints out two similarly numbered receipts. The voter then sends one receipt to the political party (or in the case of Independent candidates to the candidate) for comparison with the final tabulation arrived at by the government.

If a machine 'reads' a marked up paper ballot, many things can affect the outcome.
Dust or debris in the paper path that could cause the paper ballot to shift slightly in it's path thru the machine.
Slightly undersized or oversized ballot.
Extra marks around the area that the voter is supposed to fill in.
Overfilling the little circle.
Under filled it.
I’ve seen several Posts saying that POS soros is providing the damned machines. That doesn’t help any for sure.
