President Trump has appointed digital strategist Brad Parscale to lead his 2020 re-election effort, his campaign announced Tuesday.
"Brad was essential in bringing a disciplined technology and data-driven approach to how the 2016 campaign was run," said Jared Kushner.
The Trump campaign pledged its apparatus would not only prepare for the president's re-election, but also play a role in the 2018 midterm elections this year.
Parscale, who will serve in the role of campaign manager, is a longtime Trump aide whose connection to the president stretches back well before the president's campaign began in 2015.
Parscale began working for the Trump Organization in 2011, on website design and digital media issues for Trump's businesses. Parscale is not known primarily as a political operative but as a specialist in digital marketing and web design. Prior to the Trump campaign, he had not worked in a professional role on any national political campaign.
After Trump launched ... Parscale was appointed digital director. In that role, he worked on fundraising, polling and marketing strategy — and did so in close consultation with the candidate.
"I didn't have to go get 12 steps of approval. I had to get one from Mr. Trump. And we can move whole budget around from mail, phones, TV, digital — everything — within a couple of hours". "I think that ended up paying in the end."
Parscale has talked extensively about the campaign's use of social media during the election and how it was key to the president's eventual victory. "I understood early that Facebook was how Donald Trump was going to win. Twitter is how he talked to the people. Facebook was going to be how he won," Parscale told CBS' 60 Minutes.

Was so proud when we had TWO on the SCOTUS.
It doesn’t matter to my nephews and nieces and it shouldn’t anymore as they are 3rd generation and almost no old customs and traditions will survive.
It’s the way it’s SUPPOSED to work here.

She was incredible in 2016, and I would think she deserves the top spot, if she wants it.
No matter what, I hope she's a leader who has top-level influence on President Trump. Even if he's a great President, he's still a human, and needs great counsel.
Her husband worries me and there have been many reports about her and loose lips that can of course sink ships.
A good advocate for Trump she is, but this guy would be my preference also.

About two years ago I read a long article about him. I just happened to run into that article. What luck.
Anyhow, I learned so much about this guy. He knows even more about how to use the internet to get a candidate elected than Democrats know about Commie Propaganda and The Rules for Radicals.

Parscale, who is 6’8” played basketball in high school, then attended the University of Texas at San Antonio on an athletic scholarship. An injury sidelined his sports career early.He later attended Trinity University in San Antonio where he earned a degree in finance, international business and economics in 1999.
