“We have indecisive political leaders at the State, County, and Municipal levels who will actually move to stop volunteer forces from doing anything effective.”

Under present circumstances (Invasion force, act of war) such actions would constitute treason. Those individuals would thus warrant being shot for making such impediments that provide aid and comfort to the enemy - in a war situation.

I would say that you are absolutely correct on this point.

The central problem that we face is that we have far too many people in our own Government who actively support our enemies. We also have too many people in the general population who will tolerate such behavior or even support it. It is unfashionable to point out the effective remedies to that sort of problem.

At a minimum, traitors should be expelled from any position of authority. A selective hardening is necessary (and it won't be tolerant of the Leftists) We still may have enough left of the "Rule-of-Law" that we can change our Government peacefully.

If not, then our enemies will change things for us.
