One is left almost speechless at this statement issued the other day after the bomb threat against CNN.
Let’s start with this. CNN and MSNBC have been leading voices in the liberal media’s climate of hate. A climate of hate in which their main goal has been not to objectively report the news but to destroy a President. And by no means are CNN and MSNBC alone. Joined by the New York Times, the Washington Post and various other left-wing outlets in print, on air and online, they have all moved long past the role of legitimate critics of a President to foaming, ranting, eye-popping hatred. The President, we are told, is Hitler. A racist. He’s a fascist.
All of this - and so much, much more - has spewed forth on both networks and all the rest over the last three years. Yet even as the search was going on for what would turn out to be one Cesar Sayoc, a clearly troubled soul with a very long rap sheet - including one arrest for “threatening to use a bomb, and illegally possessing anabolic steroids” - out comes a statement like that from my old CNN boss Jeff Zucker.

It’s incredible isn’t it? The media freaks may feel free to drop dead at anytime.
They have no interest in the truth and will stop at nothing to push their warped view of reality.
What is amazing is that there are many people who normally don't pay a great deal of attention to politics who listen to the media's lies and believe them.
I have old friends who will not even speak with me because they know I am a Trump supporter. They honestly believe that everything--EVERYTHING--negative that happens in life is because of Trump and his supporters. That's what the media tells them.
From the synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, to the caravan in Mexico, to stock market gyrations, to the fake bombs, to Megyn Kelly, to the opioid crisis...all due to Trump (and us).

Don’t know where the author has been for the last forty years but the left call everyone not on board with their leftisim evil and Hitler etc.
We all know that. But it is getting worse.
When in the last forty years has the president of a major news network come on the air immediately following an event like the fake bombing and blamed the president.
I can't recall one.
These people may be wearing suits and ties, but they are, like Antifa protestors, so overcome with rage that they are--figuratively--foaming at the mouth and flicking spittle as they spew out their lies on the air.
They can’t compete on “the field of ideas” and they are so stupid they don’t realize they are insisting we compete on what was once called “the field of honor”. As they also lackhonor I suspect their efforts there will be even more fruitless.
They have gone full-brownshirt.
Antifa in the streets and liars on the air.
Their lying is every bit as violent as the actions of thugs in the street. They are feeding, abetting, and fanning the flames of the rage of those in the street.
POTUS is doing what the eared one said: “bring a gun to a knife fight.” Obozo didn’t catch any flak from that comment.
As has been said recently, the media doesn't just support the Democratic Party, the media IS the Democratic Party.
Don't expect any flak from them when it comes to Obama or Democratic politicians.
The “Hate Trump Network Machine” is driving drunk, full of anger and out of control, like road rage.
You are spot on. While FreeRepublc has hosted many discussions regarding how conservative a particular politician may be, for the most part (thank you, Mods) they have been civil and intellectual discussions.
For the Left, no one can be pure enough, each individual truly believes they are "The One."
Eventually, after exterminating their political opponents and anyone perceived to be neutral, they turn on themselves.
I just lost a friend of many years who said I was not showing adequate compassion for the victims of the “attempted mass murder”—the fake “bomber’s” targets. I said I didn’t have to prove my compassion and blocked her for one night, knowing she would have tons of abuse for me. So the next morning unblocked her and she is incommunicado.
It's been my experience that if these "old friends" turned on you for supporting Trump, they were never really your "friends".
Just old liberals showing their true colors to you when you did not agree with them.
No big loss. Been there, done that myself. I don't miss my "old friends" who decided their political beliefs were more important than our friendship.
My life is much more pleasant without those liberals in it.
Big Media continues to attack the president with lies. The president needs to not stop calling CNN and all the rest of them Fake News. Yesterday’s rally should be the end of not calling them that.
I can remember Billy Jeff blaming Rush for Oklahoma City.
