A few observations from a former bomb disposal officer (i.e. Me):
1. Proper pipe bombs don't have wires connected to both ends. That's dumb.
2. You can find timers / remote control receivers WAY smaller than whatever that white box is. A proper timer would best be stored inside the pipe, making it fully encapsulated. That thing is just silly looking
3. Bottom Line: Whoever made that wanted it to be painfully obvious to anyone and everyone that it's a "bomb."
This is nearly the same as a bundle of road flares wrapped together with an old-timey alarm clock ticking away.
4. "Hoax Devices" are FAR more common than real ones. In which case, we should ask ourselves what the motives of the "bomber" are and "who benefits?"
Go ahead. Think deeply and critically.

The key question is this: do they contain any actual explosive?
That should be easy enough to determine.
My suspicion, as well.

Why is the NYPD and DC police swarming the city as if this were 9/11 if it turns out these bombs weren't really bombs at all?
The LONGER it takes for us to find out these hoax bombs didn't contain ANY explosives, the MORE WE KNOW THIS IS A FALSE FLAG.

Yes a combination of early voting/ absentee voting data rolling in and internal polling has them in a sweat of panic.
That should be easy enough to determine.
The media doesn't seem to be curious about what was in them. I doubt they have even asked the FBI if they are real. If they find it was nothing, the will not joyfully report it. In fact, they will drag it out until some other scheme is ready to roll.
I'm sure, now that every single day is going to be some "serious" anti-Trump event.

Key Question 2: Which FBI operatives talked the bombers into doing this and supplied the materials?
