In its breathless hunt for grisly, sensational details, the Western media is embracing evidence-free, state-curated scoops from the same sources that spread lies and hate towards Turkeys own journalists and political dissidents
All eyes were on Turkey on Tuesday morning, in anticipation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogans promise to reveal the "naked truth of the murder of Saudi journalist, Jamal Khashoggi. Most suspected that he would present evidence incriminating Mohammed Bin Salman, the Saudi Crown Prince. One Turkish official stated, in a deliberate curtain-raiser: "Nothing will remain secret.
In the end, Erdogan didnt reveal anything new, and didnt even cover vast swathes of the details being drip-fed to the international media through anonymous Turkish official sources. We will need to wait longer to see if a key element of those stories that Turkey possesses secret tapes, audio and perhaps even video, of the gruesome murder is confirmed.

Turkish Propaganda with "facts" that keep changing reminds us we are not much better here in the US with CNN, MSNBC and even Fox News on this murder. (I have my own thoughts about why Fox is)
No body found yet.
But Israel "get's it" when it come to Turk agenda.
Why would anyone believe anything that comes out of Erdogan’s mouth ,he’s done much worst
Where’s the tape? Turkey provided so much detail, where is it?
A wink and nod appointment as a columnist to the WaPo, and an occasional critical column isn't the cause of this.
The things they’ve been parrotting from Erodogan are so damn laughable.
Turks and Saudis, which one to believe?
How about neither.
Jailed and wanted Journalists in Turkey- Updated List
https://stockholmcf.org/updated-list/
Any journalist walking around in Turkey is not a journalist, based on the above list and a talk I heard in the last 2 years from one of the guys on that list, after he’d made it out of Turkey with his life and his family. That guy is a real journalist.
One of the prime covers for intelligence operatives is “journalist”. Khashoggi was a Muslim Brotherhood propagandist, former spokesmen for the Saudi royal family before MbS turned that world on its head (a good thing in my estimation), and likely an MB operative as well. Our Left is trying to act as if he’s Edward R. Murrow, which is complete BS and only being done because they’re trying to create ways to get at Trump.
Was the whole thing really questionable? Sure.
Was it a really incompetent act by the Saudis? Sure, but then it is the Saudis. Go talk to someone who has trained them.
Should we strongly admonish the Saudis, privately? Sure.
Should we make a big deal out of it, publicly? No.
Best analysis I’ve seen of the whole thing:
Why Is Khashoggi Being Made The Defining Issue Of U.S. Foreign Policy?
https://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3698208/posts
Possibly. CNN Turkey is pure Propaganda. CNN US owns CNN Turkey.
However, I think Qatar and Turkey and Iran would like to divide the Anti-ISIS Coalition. This is effort to divide the US from Saudi Arabia.
In Fox’s case it is about a major stockholder that has a dog in the fight.
Yes, They all know they are lying to US.
Haaretz has it figured out that Turkey has their own agenda behind releasing false info about Khashoggi's murder.
Absolutely. State Propaganda supporting a hidden agenda.
And the young prince, MBS, has very powerful Royal Family member enemies. Serious court maneuvering.
This is largely a Saudi internal matter. Especially if there is no evidence of Khashoggi’s murder. It is possible that all this stuff we see as news about this, is totally bogus.
Correct.
They have not released them. My guess is there are none. Other news sources are echoing this now.
Yes, much much worse.
Like Massacres and cultural genocide with zero remorse.
Murder, theft, protecting ISIS and hundreds of other evil things.
The far left American media isn’t “falling for it”. It’s using a narrative it knows is dubious in order to strike at Trump. It’s no different from the Russia narrative.
Correct it is about the Globalist Agenda.
But in the case of Khaskoggi, it is about those who support other powerful Saudi family members.
