An man suspected of attempting to break into a Fox affiliate's building in Washington, D.C., was shot by police on Monday afternoon.
Police say the man survived the shooting at WTTG-TV. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, according to the station. An investigation is underway.
WTTG has its reporters covering the story, who are providing various updates on-air and on Twitter. One tweet includes video of the man being carried out on a stretcher.

The Headline implies that some Nutcase shot a Man inside the Fox Studio, not that a Man was shot by the Police because he attempted to get inside.
At least that’s how I reacted to the Headline.

The local DC news here said that the guy broke through two glass doors. He then wanted Pres. Trump to call him and talk with him about the implants the loon said he had. The female security guard pepper sprayed him and then shot him once in the upper chest.
On a related note, some other loon from Florida tried to drive into the White House area, but he ran into the barriers at the gate. No more on that one yet.

One report said the perp kicked the door open, at which time the guard hit him with pepper spray. When that didn’t slow him down, she pulled her firearm and shot him in the chest. As someone has said on FR at various times, “Play stupid games; win stupid prizes.”
