Politico: Nancy Pelosi Says Amnesty, Gun Control Among Top Priorities if Democrats Win
breitbart.com ^ | 10/17/2018 | Joel Pollak

Posted on 10/17/2018 9:23:07 AM PDT by rktman

Pelosi’s next priorities as speaker, she told Politico, would include new gun control laws, and amnesty for illegal aliens: “After that, Pelosi said, Democrats are looking at lowering drug prices and then will try to work with Republicans on a gun background check bill and protecting so-called Dreamers, undocumented immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children.”

The article did not mention impeachment. Some Democrats are running on promises to impeach President Donald Trump — a threat that Pelosi has tried to downplay (successfully, in the case of Politico, which appeared no to ask about the idea). Others, including Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), who would likely head the House Judiciary Committee if Democrats take over, have promised to continue investigating Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Notice they’re keeping the impeachment thing under wraps. Anyone think they could get 2/3 of the senate? I don’t.

Democrat plan. Import violent criminals and disarm the citizens. Guess they think they will never be affected.
Or their kids.

I guess people like her will never learn. Gun control has never solved many problems. Amnesty just continues to destroy the country. I find it hard to believe that any thinking person would vote for someone who thinks that way.

Well, BUSH-43 never used used a veto pen, especially when it would have had some positive effect. And Obama would not use a veto pen on any piece of legislation that furthered his own agenda. Had no trouble choking back Republican initiatives, though.

Flake, Corker, Hatch, Heller, Alexander, Graham, McCain, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio supported the last one.

McCain is dead.
Flake, Corker and Hatch are quitting.
The only bright spot on replacements is TN with Blackburn.
Romney and McSallycain are not on our side.
Graham and Alexander need to be primaried in 2020.

Bush League Republicans must become extinct before the Republic does.

“Guess she never heard of the veto pen....”

EXACTLY! With Trump in the White House, the RATs will get nothing through. So this is just so much political posturing for the stupid RAT voters. I hate the thought of giving up another two years, but if the RATs do get the House, it will make 2020 a sure thing for Trump and the Republicans.

“Bush League Republicans must become extinct before the Republic does.”

But retention of the Senate is all important at this juncture irrespective of the remaining RINO $hit. It’s now up to the voters to weed out the crap from the GOP.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You’re right, amnesty would destroy the country.
Ask the people who elected Flake, Corker, Hatch, Heller, Alexander, Graham, McCain, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio.
I expect Democrats to destroy the country, Bush League Republicans that vote for amnesty should be run out of office.
Aren’t these illegal or anti-constitutional proposals? “Illegal” immigrants, and more gun control (against the second admendment).
So the Dems can only run using anti-constitutional or illegal themes? Not to mention the violence at their rallies, their support of Antifa, etc.
