Saudi Arabia’s $100M pledge arrives in American accounts as Pompeo lands in Riyadh: report

A Saudi contribution of $100 million to U.S.-backed stabilization efforts in Syria arrived in American accounts Tuesday, just as State Mike Pompeo touched down in Riyadh to discuss the missing Saudi journalist, an anonymous U.S. official told The New York Times.

The source said the timing of the two events is no accident. He said Saudi Arabia originally pledged its contribution in August, and U.S. officials were expecting to receive it by the fall.

But Brett McGurk, a U.S. envoy to the coalition fighting the Islamic State in Syria, played down the significance of the timing with Pompeo’s visit.

Cool. This is $100 million savings to US taxpayers, who would have been burdened with paying even more for Hillary’s war.

Sweet. Khashoggi was a piece of sh*t. I don’t care if they murdered him. I just wish they had done it more discreetly.

Agree. This is a push from deep traitors to help Iran. Remember the mullah who said he’ll reveal the names of everyone the bribed? Lots of Hillary monkeys on the list.

Iran is close to collapse. They want to drive a big wedge between us an SA. Oil sanctions, something like that.

Saudi Arabia is too damn important to the West, economically, politically and militarily,to allow a minor incident like this to jeopardize things.

Saudi Arabia isn't the most pleasant land on earth. It's not governed by the most pleasant people on earth. When you're in Saudi territory you're always in at least *some* danger of being beheaded.

The guy's dead....get over it!

$100 million is a drop in the bucket of the overall cost of maintaining ground troops in Syria.

If Trump were smart he’d return the Saudi ‘contribution’ and bring our troops home.

What I thought would be a little bio on Jamal Klashogg.
He has ties from Turkey, SA and USA

Born 10-2-1958, Journalist/writter
Parents not any information still looking
****GrandFather, Muhammad Khashoggi Turkish, founder of Saudis Arabia
****grand mother SA personal physician to King
****uncle high-profile Saudi arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi, known for his part in the Iran-Contra scandal, who was estimated to have had a net worth of US$4 billion in the early 1980s. the billionaire arms dealer whose biography is called “The Richest Man in the World,” and who in the 1980s sold his yacht, the Nabila, to Donald Trump.

****oooooo Jamal Khashoggi’s cousin, Dodi Fayed, was dating Britain’s Princess Diana when the two were killed in a car crash in Paris.
