Since President Donald Trump took office, his administration has secured the release of 17 prisoners foreign governments had detained.
Weve had 17 released, and were very proud of that record. Very proud. And we have others coming, Trump said Saturday evening as he welcomed home Joshua Holt, an American citizen who had been detained in Venezuela for two years without trial.
Unlike his predecessor, the president has managed to bring these prisoners home without freeing terrorists or paying millions of dollars in suspected ransom payments.
1. Sabrina De Sousa:
Portuguese-American Sabrina De Sousa, a former CIA agent, was arrested and detained in Portugal in 2015 after being convicted in absentia in 2009 of kidnapping. De Sousa was sentenced to four years in prison for her alleged involvement in the kidnapping of radical Muslim cleric Osama Mustafa Hassan Nasr, also known as Abu Omar, in Milan, Italy, in 2003. Although De Sousa argued she played no part in the abduction, failed appeals had her on the fast track to becoming the first American intelligence official to serve jail time for a role in former President George W. Bushs administrations War on Terror.
But before she could be extradited to Italy in February 2017 to serve her sentence, Trumps administration intervened on her behalf, securing a pardon and De Sousas freedom in March of the same year.
2. Aya Hijazi and her husband Mohamed Hassanein:
During a period of particular unrest in Egypt, authorities raided a non-governmental organization dedicated to helping street children in 2014 and arrested Egyptian-American Aya Hijazi, her husband and five other activists on false charges of human trafficking, kidnapping and rape.
Not long after Trump met Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in April 2017, an Egyptian court cleared all seven detainees of all charges.

This censorship of conservatives has got to stop.
Those large companies like, Twitter, Facebook, Google, Reddit, are essentially public utilities, who should either allow free speech for ALL, or else not allow anyone to speak on their platform.
A billboard company is not allowed to pick and choose who may advertise on their signs, so why are these internet free-speech platforms allowed to discriminate based on your politics?
They should only be allowed to shut down speech that would clearly be a violation of existing laws, and then notify the police of the lawbreaker.

Seems to be working now.
let’s see. Obama gave the terrorist regime in Iran $150 Billion, $140 Million dollars in ransom for our sailors and a couple of Iran-Americans, plus giving the Taliban back 5 field commanders for an American deserter.
Trump got back 17 Americans and didn’t pay a cent.
Obama Vs. Trump. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.
COWARDICE VS STRENGHT. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE
MARXIST/ISLAMIST ANTI-AMERICAN TRAITOR VS CHRISTIAN PATRIOT. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE
Democrats/liberals/progressives/socialists/marxists versus Republicans/Conservatives, Independents/patriots. THERE IS ONE HELLUVA DIFFERENCE!
no its not working, read that page carefully, NONE of the pastor’s posts are shown, only replies to him.
Most of which are replies that are shocked that he is suspended
These people hate Jesus and will be relieved that they will spend eternity without HIm.
(Referring to the censors, I meant.)
You’re right, it is suspended.

"We really should be concerned when these companies that represent themselves as neutral paltforms, are actually exercising editorial control and pushing particular political viewpoints, because they're enjoying a special protected legal status on the theory that they're providing a neutral platform for people to speak to have a diversity of views and so forth, and that status is based on section 230 of the communications decency act which protects them from legal liability."
... But there is something wrong when you use the legal liability that you were given to be a neutral platorm at the same time you are exercising very aggressive editorial control to essentially pick sides politically.
... [regarding the tech companies] If you are going to continue to behave the way that you behave now, which is by editing content, filtering it, and steering the conversation the way you want it to go for political purposes, you are going to be regulated every bit as much as any media company.
may be temporary , If you gain too many followers at one time their is a flag. Or if you follow too many at one time or too many report you. Automatic suspension.
this graphic says the pastor violated Twitter rules.
Pastor goes from imprisoned in Turkey to praying in the Whitehouse to being banned on Twitter @BrunsonPastor when will we call this out for what it is? Fight #SocialMediaNazis— Tyde Moore (@TydeMoore) October 14, 2018
The only thing I can find is his retweet of this guy that was banned:
Twitter or someone that hacked his account wrote:
"PJ Neris @panosneris
Fake Twitter users, hateful or abusive commentators dont bother following me. In the first instance you will be reported to Twitter and blocked.

this is the worst that I seen PJ Neris said in Greek (used a translator):
"Liberalism is a very ... bad system. In the absence of vacancies in communist systems, the left-wing comrades are looking for their luck in liberal countries. They are studying and working in these countries. Top contradiction that also requires psychiatric analysis ..."
Note that this story is from May 2018 not October 2018. So 18+ not 17.
That said, I myself will be using only 15 as the number. I would have been fine with Trump leaving the three thieving basketball players in China to learn a lesson or two about consequences for illegal actions.
Anybody have a total number of hostages / prisoners Obama brought back? I have no idea whether it’s in the same ballpark or bigger or smaller.
He brought back muslims or muslim sympathizers who had defected. Those three hikers, the one who walked away in Afghanistan...
Korean-American businessmen, also a young wanna-be groom who was accused of espionage by Venezuela while visiting his girl, ...
It's nice to have a President again.
