Lumumba is a hate filled black power disciple who has out nastied even the previous mayor. If it weren’t for the bedroom communities that surround Jackson,it would fall a victim of it’s own crime and the people that voted him in are not normal people. Just sayin..

Horse hockey. I was a band student and later a band parent and band director substitute. The kids are always vocal in what they perform. Parents, too.

Seriously? I was in band, chorus, drama, newspaper, NHS and worked at a local pizza joint. Was a Junior Achievement recipient and took college classes my senior year of high school as part of a new program. Common sense? Perhaps you were lacking, but I don’t think we were.

Actions have consequences. Harsh actions deserve harsh consequences. Time to teach the “kids” what it’s like to be adults and take the punishment. Second, fire the band director and disband the band for at least one year. Then, stupid crap like this should/ will never happen again.

Those kids knew that two of their own police officers were killed in the line of duty. That, in and of itself, should have made them question what they were asked to perform.

If they are that stupid, or that afraid, then these are two issues that should be addressed right now.

As for the adult(s) involved, suspend them for the rest of the school year.

Remember, Mayor Gillum, of Tallahasse, Florida, who is running against Rick DeSanctis, is a communist as is Beetlejuice Beto O’Rourke who is running against Sen. Ted Cruz. All Democrats, all progressives, socialists, American-hating wackjobs.

I’m from Mississippi. The band should be disbanded for three years minimum and the band director fired. Only after all the students involved in this have graduated should the band be reconstituted.

Here is what I propose: the cops should have a master list of all the addresses for the students for the school, and for ever call from those homes, simply say “sorry we’re unable to get to you, especially as how you portrayed us in such a terrible way at the foot ball game!”
