Carpetbagging: 99.7 Percent Of Donations From Hollywood Executives Go To Democrats
Breitbart ^ | 10-11-2018 | Justin Carusco

While Hollywood constantly preaches diversity, some of the entertainment industry’s most powerful and influential executives have given almost exclusively to Democrat candidates and left-wing PACs. According to The Hollywood Reporter, nearly 100 percent of the millions donated from the top executives in Hollywood went to Democrats or PACs working to elect Democrats.

Of the more than $4 million in federal donations made by the top Hollywood executives and entertainers, 99.7 percent went to Democrats and Democratic-leaning political action committees or organizations, according to a Hollywood Reporter data review of Federal Election Commission records.

Only three members of this year’s THR 100 list donated to Republicans or Republican committees: Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels donated $5,000 to moderate Republican Sen. Susan Collins; WarnerMedia CEO John Stankey gave $2,000 to both Tennessee Republican Senate candidate Marsha Blackburn and the National Republican Congressional Committee; and Viacom CEO Bob Bakish gave $1,500 to Republican Georgia Sen. Johnny Isakson and $1,000 to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

The report also notes that Reed Hastings, the CEO of Netflix, donated over half a million dollars to the Senate Majority PAC, a super PAC that works to get Democrats to win back the Senate.

Bill Maher also donated $1 million to the Senate Majority PAC in August. Maher called for a recession in June if it would help get rid of President Trump.

“I feel like the bottom has to fall out at some point, and by the way, I’m hoping for it because I think one way you get rid of Trump is a crashing economy. So please, bring on the recession. Sorry if that hurts people but it’s either root for a recession, or you lose your democracy,” he said.

"Maher called for a recession in June if it would help get rid of President Trump"

The reason for the large sell off of stock.

Those people are practically foreign donors, considering how detached from the rest of the USA their twisted values are.

Money immediately looses its value when you give it to a Democrat imo.

If I was a executive I don’t know why I would be donating to the Democrats: 1) they can’t win elections or win against Trump 2) their ideas are insane — no ICE and no borders and I have to pay more for illegal deadbeats and more for protection and more taxes and more, more, more... 3) they want socialism which means more taxes and more government interference and an economy that will go south like Venezuela 4) they have no ideas but to say “resist.” So as a rational businessman, I will not donate to the Democrats.

But because I live in Hollywood if I don’t donate I will be excluded from the country club, my wife will have nowhere to do her nails without ridicule, my kids will be censored on campus and sued for hate speech... so I have to donate to the Democrats after all.

My donations to the democrats will, I am told, fight racism and bigotry and sexism and will mean criminals won’t be deported from the country because we are so compassionate, sensitive to minorities and inclusive and tolerant to everyone. Yes, we will yell down the Republicans who are the slave owners, sexist war starters. I feel I really belong now...

99.7% of donations from Hollywood executives go to Democrats? I’m surprised it is that low. I expected 100%.

And that’s why I don’t spend any money on the 97 percent snobbs. The 3 percent, treasures like Eastwood, Gary Sinese got my support.

A good enough reason to NOT attend, buy, or even watch movies from the current Hollywood culture.

They’re like unions, all proceeds go to support democrats, democrats who hate America, democrats who hate Trump, democrats who want Socialism.

If you can’t run them out, STARVE them out.

“Hillary Clinton has received more than $275,000 from more than 1,600 employees at the Justice Department this year, federal donor records reveal, and exceeded the number who contributed to Donald Trump by a factor of almost 40.
Clinton collected a total of $276,250 as of mid-October from 1,642 individuals claiming the Department of Justice as their employer, according to campaign finance data collected by the nonprofit Center for Responsive Politics. Individual contributions varied from $1 to the legal maximum of $2,700 and ranged from Jan. 4 to Oct. 19, the latest date for which information was available.

Trump received $8,560 from 42 staffers at the department over the same period, according to the data. His contributions ranged from $2 to $1,000, and run from Feb. 27 to Oct. 16.”
