GOP Poised to Hold onto Key House Seats in Ohio’s Competitive House Races
Brietbart ^ | 10/09/2018 | Michael Patrick Leahy

Posted on 10/09/2018 10:24:03 PM PDT by MaxistheBest

Republican candidates are poised to hold onto five key Ohio seats in the U.S. House of Representatives just four weeks before the midterm elections. Those five seats currently held by Republicans in the 1st, 10th, 12th, 14th, and 15th Congressional Districts are among the 61 seats currently held by the GOP across the country that Breitbart News identified in July as “must-win” in order for Republicans to maintain a one-seat majority in the House of Representatives. (In addition, the GOP must flip three Democrat-held seats).

In the subsequent two and a half months, changes in circumstances have now placed all five of these races in the likely Republican win column in November.

The improvement of GOP fortunes in Ohio ariseS from both national factors–the strength of the economy, the improved job approval rating of President Donald Trump, and the “Kavanaugh effect”–as well as local factors, specifically the surprising weakness of Democrat candidates in these key races.

If we lost 1 of these 61 seats they are talking about, we lose the house?

If they are all in safe R areas, great.

i have No IDEA what the breakdown is.

Here’s your answer:

61 Seats the GOP Must Hold to Maintain the House
https://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/07/25/61-seats-the-gop-must-hold-to-maintain-a-majority-in-the-house-of-representatives/

...”With only 100 of the 435 seats in the House of Representatives competitive this cycle, and 86 of those seats currently held by Republicans, the GOP must hold onto 61 of those 86 seats and flip three of the 14 Democrat seats that are competitive....”

Blue wave was a hoax those Commie scum aren’t winning jack. But I’m worried about UTAH my friends and fellow Patriots in arms we know that Willard Romney is globalist Satanists to the core. I’m deeply concerned that there is civil war clouds brewing within the GOP if he wins.

It would seem to me that for every seat the GOP can flip, that changes the top number (61) by -2 ..

The rats CAN win the House but the way I see it a narrow rat majority is looking like the worst case scenario if they nearly sweep the competitive races.

To hear the media tell it the GOP hanging on by a thread (they are giving us a 1 in 4 chance) is their worst cast scenario and they are fantasizing about gaining a huge rat majority.

As for Romney, he’s a jackhole but I don’t see any party scism occurring because of him, he’s hardly gonna be the only jackhole Republican Senator.

I live in Ohio’s 15th con. district. The result in 2016 was 66% for the republican Steve Stivers to 33% for the democrat. I am not aware of any drama that would change the results in 2018. I don’t see any way that this race would be competitive.

Folks! Please pray fervently over these seats. You cannot imagine how crucial this is.

I live in OH-14 district. I am not crazy about Dave Joyce. He put out a weird anti-Trump ad a few months ago. But recently his ad against his opponent, Betsy Rader, has a very telling image of her at the very end. She is angrily shouting into a microphone with a pink p***y hat on. Very effective!

Well I think the whole SC pick fiasco by the dems will help us hold on to the house.

I’m getting kinda tired of msm blasting: “there’s five seats pubs MUST keep if....there’s four seats pubs Must keep...there’s ONE seat pubs MUST keep...

And these people MAKE A LIVING out of doing what SHOULD BE ignored, which is what I’m doing.

So the Democrats need to pick up 23 seats.

About 61 seats are competitive. 12 of these 61 competitive seats are in Ohio and Florida. Of those 12 seats, the Republicans lead in ALL of them in those two seats. The Democrats’ margin for error is getting smaller.

I won’t be voting for Stivers. I sent him a message 2 years ago to vocally support Trump and he didn’t. I sent him another message a few months ago telling him that either he come on in support of Jim Jordan as the new Speaker (as some of his colleagues had done) or else I wouldn’t be voting for him. He didn’t.

I won’t be voting for him. I won’t be voting for anyone in that race.

The problem is that there are very few flippable Dem. seats.

Nah those Commie scum Rats aren’t winning the house either they might win some seats to close the gap the majority but that’s it. And I’ll be first on here to say it Romney will announce a Presidental bid in 2020 if he wins his Senate race sounds Crazy? Well we all thought it was crazy when LS said Trump win the Presidency back in early 2016 right? Right?
