Let’s look at this scenario.
1. Flake votes NO
2. Collins and/or Magurski vote NO
3. No dems vote YES
He fails with 48 or 49 votes.
I would say, why NOT resubmit him because then there’s a huge incentive to vote republican.
If he get more than 3 republican NO votes, then I agree, move on, and you work like heck to vote even those people out during their primaries.

Heres to Cory Booker spending his last moments as Spartacus did.
To: shelterguy
Roy did, the GOPe folded and abandoned him. So far that’s not happening here but dems can’t be blamed for imagining it could yet happen.

Hey Corey did you have anything to do with this attempted ricin attack on the POTUS or SecDef. If you did you are finished.

Worked for Obama. Booker and Harris will try to ride it to the White House.

After Obama, I don’t think we’re going to see another black president in my lifetime.
After Hillary!, I think women’s political stock is at an all time low, too.

GFY, Spartacus Jazz Hands!!! Your lies about Tbone and your fake Spartacus moment have brought shame and ridicule to the Senate. Time for you to resign!

Flake folded, which is why Kavanaugh is not on the Supreme Court right now.

That booker is sharp, all right. His reasoning is, we cant find incriminating evidence on this candidate, so drop him and find another one we can smear

You see, their plan is working. One more delay and they’ll get to Collins and Snow too, if they haven’t already. I continue to have a lack in confidence that they manage to get this done but I remain hopeful. I stand by my comments made weeks ago: if they let the dems kill this nomination they will get destroyed in the midterms. I said they’d fail to show up because “why bother” since they stand for nothing and can’t even get a SCOTUS nominee in after running on how that’s the most important reason to vote for them. I now think it would be worse than I thought then because rather than disappointment and indifference, the anger people have towards dems will shift into anger directed straight towards them.

Cory Booker is a child rapist who needs to be removed from the US Senate and sent to prison...whether he did it or not!!!

The anger towards Democrats will shift to become anger towards Republicans for being so obviously played, again.
