Telling you folks. Mitch has 3-5 Dems in his pocket. This Ford thing is totally backfiring on the Left.
Think about it. Women - they don’t exist by themselves. They have sons, brothers, Dads, husbands. You think they’re gonna put feminists ahead of their family or loved ones who are male?

If the 17th Amendment were repealed, this wouldn’t even be an issue.

Joe is caught between a rock and a hard place, with his nuts and career inbetween.

If he votes against Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court, he’s out of the Senate.

If he votes for Kavanaugh AFTER DICKING AROUND AND NOT TAKING A FIRM STANCE FOR HIM, he’s out of the Senate.

His only other option would be to vote against Kavanaugh and hope that the Dems take the Senate. Otherwise he is toast, without butter.

If he was smart, years ago he would have left the Dem Party and become an Independent like Jeffords, Sanders, etc. so that he could play one party against the other.

Manchin, Heisskamp, Menendez, McCaskill....there goes the blue senate down the tubes...all since the dems attacked Kavanaugh. Keep it up if you dare.

The house will be worse, ---bet on it---at which time we can get a even stronger conservative to join or replace Kavanaugh

Good point.

When we hear people say, how women are so outraged about Kavanagh and are offended by him and all of that, they really mean it is liberal women and or single unattached women who predominantly feel that way. The vast majority of women in this country, who have husbands, Sons, brothers, uncles, are really troubled at the way this has been set up.

I have no doubt, that women who have male family members are watching this and are fearful about how the left would sacrifice their husbands Sons Etc because of crazy allegations such as we have been hearing against Kavanaugh.

Bottom line is that these loudest leftist voices are not spokespeople for the vast majority of Americans

If they think they need the Feminist Vote, then yes, they’ll sacrifice their husbands. If they didn’t seriously intend to do so, they would have given the nod for the Confirmation already instead of having to think about it. They figure their husbands, brothers, and sons will ‘understand.’ Sigh. Such has become the cowardice of men in many families. Not all, thankfully!

“If he was smart, years ago he would have left the Dem Party”

Well, I tried to get him to switch to the GOP years ago. He has not been true to himself and the way he was raised. He would be having a whole different career if he had listened. He’s on his own now.

Let’s see. What kind of senators would the socialist political/regulator class in each state choose through the state legislators in their pockets? The lobbies for municipal governments would be all over that. ...just my opinion.

It should be noted that Fords testimony was very vague and thus insulates herself from a lawsuit from Kavenaugh. She made one fatal error when she testified that without doubt Kavanaugh assaulted her. Ford needs to pray that he is confirmed as once confirmed he will not persue charges against her. If not confirmed he has much motive to destroy this woman for false testimony. She is in great jeopardy and the democrat party will toss her aside when she becomes a liability.

Until 50 Republicans vote yes, ZERO Demonrats will vote for him!

The bastards won’t vote for Kavanaugh unless their vote isn’t needed!

You got that right.

Latest Polls show WRT hearing believability, it’s a wash. And, for Democrats, that is an absolute nightmare.

They connived like thieves.....had it all planned. They'd lacerate Kav and Repubs ......and collect the votes at midterm.

Too frickin' bad.....that aint happening.

Well said! Yes, McConnell said that he has the votes, said it with authority and for good reason. Here’s what it looks like to the paranoid crazies who are against Kavanaugh.

Brett Kavanaugh confirmation tracker: where every senator stands on Trump’s Supreme Court nominee

They’re losing hope for making any more effective mischief, and that’s why they’re already quieter.

My guess is that at least three out of the four secretive ones will vote to confirm, and that’s why they’re secretive. And oh, yeah, they’ve decided. They vote yes and take a nice, little vacation with family and/or friends away from the noise.

Manchin is a gun grabber. I hope he loses.

On March 26, the New York Times Magazine described Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) as “the Senate Democrat who… seems closest to [President] Trump” and who believes he may actually secure gun control under the Trump administration.

.....he told NYT Mag reporter Robert Draper that he believes he has “a complete opportunity” to secure gun control under Trump.

Manchin wants universal background checks - the first step to confiscation.
