This is the one I want to do next. It does look like a propaganda pic.
They do cause 99% of the mess and clean up NOTHING. LOL
Good evening, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
Hope you are feeling better and ready to take on the new week.
Yeah....how the troops are so nice to the locals. Yeah, right. You need to tell hubby to leave the glass with you till you are done. LOL!
Good evening, Janey...((HUGS))...glad you enjoyed your day with a win.
Any parachute flights this time home?
That’s what I’m thinking. Something along that line any way.
I had a “light bulb” moment a little while ago that will make it easy to read what’s on back of the pix without the magnifying glass. It’ll be a lot easier, actually. I just snapped pix of the back of each one, like I did with the two I posted, and they’ll be plenty large onscreen. Didn’t think about it last night, but I was brain dead then. LOL
Pix are taken and I just need to load ‘em onto the computer.
Ha! Knew you’d find a way! Just have to get those brain cells a’poppin’! Look forward to knowing what they were thinking. Bound to be chilling.
Good evening, Pro...hope you got some son time over the weekend. Who wins the games? You keeping up with the kid?
Sometimes the ol’ pea brain surprises me and works. LOL
Yep, that second one’s a propaganda pic alright.
“The World War (1914/18)
Behind the front
A dance behind the front
Every day, our enemies spread out new atrocity news about poor treatment of the inhabitants in the occupied territories. Reality was very correct and decent everywhere. The relations between the soldier and the population often took on friendly forms, especially when they lasted longer.
Scrapbook (R.M. 1 -) only available at the tobacco trade.
Picture exchange only by Cigaretten Bilderdienst Dresden - A.1”
Yep...it just had “that look” of coercion to me. Poor girls.
Yes, it did have “that look”. Not all have that obvious appearance but we guess they’re all propaganda.
Not all have it but that one stated it was only available “at the tobacco trade”. I gather they all came with packs of cigarettes and that would explain their small size.
Mr. Creely collected all kinds of cool stuff over 60 years. Even though I went down there last year, I didn’t see anything CLOSE to all of it. Too much piled together and it was overwhelming. It’s fun getting to see these things as they’re unpacked and we decide where to put them. I believe these will be placed in a large picture frame with their translated captions pasted underneath each one.
How's everyone doing this morning?
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Did you and Gizmo have a grand weekend? Did he give you a run for the money at the lake? :-)
They really are a rare find! I’m glad you are getting to do the translation. It’s a cool job to have!
Well, the early morning is catching up with me, so guess I’d best go for now. See ya tomorrow? Have a great day!
((LOL))Well, he did a little track and field on Saturday. Other than that we had fun out at Comanche Lake this weekend. Back to Waurika Lake later today.
I wouldn’t be doing the translations if I didn’t watch all those bird nests overseas. LOL! I use Google Translate all the time to translate comments so it came to mind immediately when she said she’d like to have the captions translated.
It’s neat to be able to contribute a little something besides cleaning uniforms. :-)
Sleep well. I hope Peaches is outside! LOL
He’s keeping you fit trying to keep up with him. LOL
Have a great time at Waurika Lake today.
Good evening/morning, Luv...
Hope you got a good nap on Sunday.
I’m typing as I just woke up from a nap at my computer. Now I need to go to bed.
Drive-by Post just to say good morning and wishing you all a happy Monday!
Hai! Good Morning (((HUGS))) Did some jump flights Sunday until the rains came. Now on the PC bidding flights.
