Is Trump Creating New Republicans?

Current polls suggest that Republicans could be in for a rough November, but not as rough as one might expect among a key voting constituency.

Amy Walter of the Cook Political Report writes today that Democrats are confident about their support among suburban women, but enthusiasm among female Democratic voters “isn’t being replicated among another group of voters that theoretically should be as motivated — or more — to vote for Democrats: Latino voters.”

The Latino vote is not in sync with the DNC playbook.... It seems they like having a job, keeping more of their money, making money in the market and safe neighborhoods. And they don't like M13...go figure.

How come people don’t hate the patronizing insult of expecting them to Keep to their Skin Color or Culture in voting or believing? It’s bigotry to assume and take Americans for granted.

So everyone of Hispanic origin does not embrace lawlessness. Go figure.

The Latinos down here want to go do their jobs, see their kids succeed in school, live in a relatively safe neighborhood, cook out a lot, enjoy their hobbies and have babies. Pretty much the same as my late father’s generation when they came back from World War II. Treating them differently than previous generations probably is not a winner.

Thinking people--a description which may not fit today's "group-think," "group-act," Progressive ideologues--may have been influenced by the simple truths of today's speech.

Ideologues whose ideology is their single identity have rejected the "gift of reason" which comes with Creator-endowed rights, freedoms, and laws to protect them! By their rejection of those superior and enduring ideas, they live in a realm outside that of reality.

He’s creating independents who will vote Republican as long as he is in the WH. Absolutely noting I see is capable of creating new Republicans.

Maybe so-but don’t forget... when our grandparents arrived, they couldn’t assimilate fast enough... and did

These new comers can not, maybe will not!

Our people understood that the opportunities here were unlimited and they could get ahead the sooner and the better they assimilated. By the way-my grandparents LOVED America and were proud to BE American.

These new comers are lukewarm, at best.

This was never about race or ethnicity. It’s about law and order. When you want to come into someone’s home you knock on the front door. You don’t break-in through the window.

None of us would enter Mexico illegally.

The illegals hate Trump.

But not all people from South America are illegals. Most of them are not.

They are tired of being put in the same category as "mojados" and criminals.

They don't like it when their English speaking children are automatically put in ESL classes in school.

They don't like it when they are singled out for "special help" that they did not ask for, want or need because their last name.

“These new comers are lukewarm, at best.”

The Latinos that we see and meet in our area (Tampa Bay) are rock solid workers with strong family ethics and they are so proud of what they have accomplished. They are Americans and don’t mind showing it. It’s amazing when they find out we are Trumpsters, they open up with a huge smile and they can’t stop talking about him.

Every damn article, even the one’s with truly bad news for the democrats has to start with this. The democrats are going to win huge except their losing. But their winning.

The ones I meet, and see here and the ones the media shows me eagerly align themselves with a political party which prides itself on an ever increasing demonstration of their hatred for America.

How are we supposed to take that?

Folks, you have to remember that we have millions of Hispanics in this country that have lived in the USA as loyal, patriotic, citizens for many years, Mexicans, Cubans & Puerto Ricans in massive numbers. The Mexicans came with the country, the Cubans & Puerto Ricans came as immigrants, after Castro in Cuba and The miserable failed Democrat Party in Puerto Rico, forced many Puerto Ricans to go north to the USA where they were already citizens to seek better lives for them selves and their families.

We also have many other Hispanics that have migrated here and have become outstanding loyal and patriotic American citizens. Their culture, religion and ethics line up much more with the current Republican party and that will continue as time goes by.

“A New York Times poll released yesterday has the Republican incumbent in Kansas 3rd down by 8.”

Kansas’ 3rd CD is odd. It’s overall an upper middle-class district with a lot of Republicans - but it’s not a conservative district. It has elected Democrats to Congress before.

Here’s a link that may give you some perspective on that race:
