Fair treatment is prosecuting her for the crime in progress, not giving an obvious fraud a national platform to make further false accusations in bad faith.
Raid her lawyers’ offices (thanks Mueller for the precedent) and let’s see what kind of pre-planning turns up in the documents.

It's supposed to be impartial, confrontational, and diligent in seeking out the truth without favor. No more and no less.
