Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh on Monday defended himself against the sexual assault allegations roiling his nomination by saying he was a virgin through high school and college.
"We’re talking about an allegation of sexual assault," Kavanaugh said in a clip released from his interview on Fox News Channel's "The Story with Martha MacCallum."
"I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone," Kavanaugh said. "I did not have sexual intercourse or anything close to sexual intercourse in high school or for many years thereafter ... The girls from the schools I went to, and I, were friends."
"Through all these years that were in question, you were a virgin?" Fox News host Martha MacCallum asked.
"That’s correct," Kavanaugh replied, adding that he did not have sex until "many years after" college.
Neither of the two accusations regarding Kavanaugh involve sexual intercourse. Christine Blasey Ford is alleging Kavanaugh held her down and groped her over her clothes during a high school party in 1982, and Deborah Ramirez claims he exposed himself without her consent during a gathering at Yale University a few years later.
Fox News released clips from the interview throughout the evening on Monday.
At another point in the interview, Kavanaugh vowed he is "not going anywhere" despite the allegations.
"I’m not going to let false accusations drive us out of this process," he said, sitting beside his wife as she nodded.
Kavanaugh during the interview denied attending the party in Ford's account.
"[I am] not questioning and have not questioned that perhaps Dr. Ford at some point in her life was sexually assaulted by someone at some place but what I know is I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone," he said.
Ford has stated that she is sure Kavanaugh was the man who allegedly assaulted her in an episode that she says has caused her decades of emotional trauma.
The full interview is scheduled to air at 7 p.m. EST.

The accusers were certainly NOT virgins. I had many instances where girls threw themselves on me not because I was some stud. We had beer parties and girls can get very aggressive and hormonal. I was a virgin throughout high school.
Judge Kavanaugh is a better Man than I could have ever hoped to be.
I did a lot of stupid things in my late teens and early 20’s, some that I have regretted as long as I have lived.
As I reflect upon those things as a Old Man I realize that it took Age and Wisdom to set me straight.
It appears Judge Kavanaugh didn’t have to experience Age and Wisdom to be an example of a truly Moral Man.
Something about doing the right thing when nobody was looking. The Left has ruined any good our Society has accomplished with their hateful rhetoric and their behavior shows no signs of reversing. I fear for the Republic.

No one should be ashamed that he or she is a virgin. That slutty prof who had over 50 sex partners between high school and college should be ashamed of herself. What the heck is wrong with our society?

I wonder if he always was on the path to studying law. He’s a strong Catholic; maybe he was considering the priesthood. I dunno. Just a thought.

This won’t stop the hysterical part of the democrat party from condemning him and calling him a rapist. The truth doesn’t matter to the left.
There is no way that the screaming hysterics are going to read Kavanaugh’s statements and realize that he is a good man and that he is being unfairly attacked.
I predict that there will be a fourth bimbo next week. The democrats have already retained a stable of bimbos and have given them some money, pending activation. This will not change.
It’s all about what the media refuses to mention: abortion. There is not even a modicum of decency in these people.
