As this plays out I think we need to consider how Christine Blasey Ford will find her way into the American vernacular. In the same way Bork became Borked (a verb), Lewinski a noun (You go a Lewinski).

I hope Ford is happy with how she will be immortalized. So what will it Be?

Many years ago my wife worked as a paralegal type job. The attorneys finally got together and told her to stop writing such accurate notes on every detail. She was causing them to lose cases.

“””The FBI Needs to Investigate NOW, She and Fineswine probably committed a FELONY!!!”””

I agree.

Starting with what proof does Feinstein have that she actually received by mail the letter supposedly typed on July 30, 2018 and sent by Ford.

Given the high level accusations in the letter would affect a Supreme Court Nominee, I would expect Feinstein’s office would have kept the envelope it was mailed in.

If he was 17 and had a calendar I like him even more-

I WISH I would have had my s**t together that much at that age.

On a recent visit to my daughter she pulled out a box of stuff that my mother had given her. In it were all my school report cards, yearbooks and even some notes from an old boyfriend. The notes were still folded up like footballs. a practice that was very popular in the late sixties early seventies.

I think this whole thing is made up by the liberal leftists...She is a willing pawn, being paid big, big bucks to lie...

Her story has shown absolutely no credibility, so now the liberals have hired one or two more liars to go along with Ford...There bottomless money pit (Soros et al) is taking acre of this...

This whole thing is so damned obvious to people with a brain...The timing is so obvious...

Re:I wouldn’t produce them until she provided a date.

Bingo!

This is probably why Ford is so fuzzy on the date. If she names a date and he can credibly say he was elsewhere, Ford's claim is toast!

No doubt WHY the second accuser appeared right on cue.

I think it’s a mistake to concede that any date of accusation not contradicted by the calendar represents a valid claim.

The burden of proof is on the accuser, not the accused.

Enough already.

Confirm Kavanaugh then sue “Doctor” Ford until she can’t afford a ‘71 Pinto to sleep in.

As I said in a post last week, the only way to stop this is scorched-earth opposition research targeting people like “The Spy Who Drove Me” Feinstein, “I never knew a woman I couldn’t belittle and beat” Ellison, “I THOUGHT I was in Vietnam” Blumenthal, Patty “I loved Ted Kennedy” Murray, and the rest of their ilk. Sue them, prosecute them and don’t give them five minutes to rest.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Brett Kavanaugh’s mother, who is also a judge, encouraged her son to keep those calendars for future reference, because she would have been of the generation that witnessed the smear campaign against Judge Bork and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. If her son had aspirations in the direction of becoming a judge himself, she of all people would have been aware of the necessity of having a “squeaky clean” background. Just saying.....

Their strategy all along was to delay and suspend the nomination process. They are now saying that because of these "multiple" accusations the nomination needs to be suspended.

Agreed. Remember when this first came up and there was talk of postponing but, when that initial talk went nowhere, we began hearing that Ms. Ford wanted the FBI to investigate first. When that failed, there was talk of her not wanting to fly. When a date was set for her on Thursday, then came all of her "conditions". And now, with this second accusation, the Dims are asking for a complete postponement of the vote.

I think the Dims thought the GOP would simply roll over once Ms. Ford came forward, but that's not exactly what happened. They'll try anything to keep the stall going until after the midterms.

When I was 10 or 11, I was carrying a spiral notebook in my shirt pocket. My brother still reminds me of that. (don’t have any of them now, I’m 70)

Most of my adult life I lived out of a daily. Some of them still exist. They were important for monthly reports and at tax time. Eventually it was replaced by a PDA, but that turned out to be a poor replacement, they break.

I have a small notebook that I carried when on active duty in the Army. Mostly names and addresses. Not sure where it is now but I still have it.

Yes, it’s not just the “seriousness of the charge”, it’s the number of ‘em!

I am extremely embarrassed for my country today.

The fact he has calendars from 1982, when a high school student, that seems as odd to me as her inability to make any specifics in her claims.
