Two more conditions demanded by Ford’s lawyers:

* Kavanaugh must be questioned first.

* Kavanaugh must not be allowed to be in the room during Ford’s testimony.

So they want the Senate Committee to agree that Kavanaugh will *not* be allowed to face his accuser or be allowed to rebut whatever accusations she wants to fabricate between now and then.

Oh, and one more:

* That Kavanaugh’s lawyer *not* be allowed to question Ford.

call the vote. up or down.
if he passes out of committee to the floor its done. He can sue her in civil actions.
if he is rejected he should do the same thing. sue her in civil court.

then we should try to blow another candidate through.
lather rinse repeat.

But the ultimate problem is... we don’t have the needed votes. the list of border sitting so called republicans... “aren’t”.
and by “aren’t” I mean they are not really sitting on the border nor are they really republicans...

at some level, they would really would enjoy giving Trump and his hated supporters black eyes and a 1 term lame duck status...

I see no way this comes down without a breakout manifestation of CW2.

It appears that if the judge is no confirmed by next week then he cannot sit in on the next round of cases. That is what this is about.

This is what some Republican senators are helping Ford and her commie associates to buy time for.

Want to help prevent rape? Withdraw Kavanaugh’s nomination.

A few Democrat senators intended to vote to confirm, because most of their voters voted to elect President Trump. But now those senators are being terrorized by several thousand feminists into voting *against* confirming Kavanaugh.

Despite his old age and unlikelihood that he will run again, I fear Grassley has become too wobbly trying desperately to placate the “moderates.’ Of course, we may not have the votes to confirm anyway.

They are engaging in the same delaying tactics to prevent the vote from occurring as the Democrat Senators...why it almost looks like this was planned and coordinated. The Committee already engaged in the irregularity of delaying the vote for another week and setting a special hearing date just because of her and her allegations...now her lawyers claim that was “arbitrary” - accusing Chairman Grassley of what they themselves are doing.

If she doesn’t show, hold the vote, and let’s move on. The only point to this is to try to delay the vote, as we’ve discussed, if this were to have been taken seriously it would have been dealt with back in July and brought to the attention of McConell, Grassley, Judge Kavanaugh, and President Trump and they would have decided to go forward or withdraw the nomination - Kavanaugh could have prepared his family for it or decided he would not go through with it, and either way, we would heading toward the final vote with either Kavanaugh or a different nominee. This was purely an ambush to not only stop Kavanaugh, but any nominee from being seated.

That’s exactly what it is about - actually far beyond that. Otherwise, Feinstein would have addressed this back in July - Kavanaugh would have decided if he wanted to continue or withdraw his nomination (as well as President Trump). They want *no* nominee to be seated - that’s why it was handled the way that it was. There is nothing genuine about this.

"if he passes out of committee to the floor its done."

If I remember correctly, the Committee only issues a positive or negative recommendation, and the full Senate votes either way. In other words, the Committee can vote no, and the full Senate can vote yes. Is that correct?

Hey, crazy girl. You’ve had 36 years to sit on this alleged tomfoolery. Now is the chance you’re getting to tell it to a congressional panel. As Elvis said, “It’s now or never...” Now that you’ve attempted to smear and ruin the career of an innocent man, you have no rights. You’ll attend the congressional panel when they tell you to, or you’ll crawl back under your rock and shut up forevermore. Her “evidence” is so ridiculous, it sends rational people into paroxysms of gut busting laughter.

"But the ultimate problem is... we don’t have the needed votes."

Those Republicans already indicated that they would vote to confirm, as did at least two Democrat senators. The delays might turn those voting intentions into votes against confirmation, though. Those senators are now on the receiving end of a message campaign from feminists--thousands of them pretending to be millions.

That's baloney. Go back through the Supreme Court archives and see how many justices made rulings on cases that were already underway when they joined the court.

Do you think Supreme Court justices only die between June and October?

That’s happening anyway, in some form or fashion. The left is already shooting and clubbing people who refuse to back down.

The Kavanaugh hearings are just another set of friction points for the left to justify “by any means necessary”.

which is what I mean when I say we don’t have enough votes.
you need enough votes, that there is a sufficient margin of victory, even if the usual suspects defect from what they promised earlier.

FLAKE in particular.

They have to pass him OUT of committee to go to the floor (if I recall)... I believe that his nomination is in danger of NOT doing so primarily because of FLAKE.

there are at least 50 million of the devil’s minions...many of which are entrenched in career government positions.

there are at least another 20 million illegals who have violent criminal or islamist leanings in their circle of influence.

They are violent, have no respect for the law or retribution from law abiding citizens...

These folks are NOT afraid of going to jail or murdering innocent babies... all at taxpayer expense.

the tree of 1iberty and all... was not just a sentimental object of some founder’s imagination. it was a living statement of fact.

We cannot export, arrest and incarcerate them fast enough... probably 10 million illegals came in over the past two years... because we have no walls and no balls.

and the solution for enemies that are domestic... delayed justice and ‘slap on the wrist prison sentences’ will not change the hearts and minds of immoral, God hating liberals.
