So the letter we all think we saw was made up by CNN from a source supposedly reading a redacted copy of the real letter??
This has bugged me for days. I was sure it was first reported that the letter was from someone who had knowledge of the “assault”. But then the letter I have seen is from Ford herself.
“The senior leadership of the Senate and government employees are consuming all the oxygen in Washington D.C. over an alleged beer party of some grade schoolers. Who needs foreign enemies with elected officials like America enjoys?”

At first the letter was reportedly written by someone affiliated with Stanford University and sent to Rep. Anna Eshoo, before being passed along to Feinstein.
Now it is being reported Ford first met with Eschoo and on Eshoo’s suggestion, Ford wrote the letter detailing her claims to Sen. Dianne Feinstein,
Methinks there is a method behind Grassley’s madness.

I’ve never understood how they can offer redacted statements for anything serious enough to require proof of anything. What good is a redacted statement when it concerns a point of law? When did this get started? What are the rules as to what part of a document can be redacted? To my mind a redacted statement for anything is a useless document,but admittedly,I am not a lawyer.

If this letter was sent about Gorsuch, too, like a frickin’ form letter, I can see why the ‘Rats need the redacts.
Feinstein should be brought up on ethics charges at the very least.

Ford wont testify because drunk teens normally do things that are awkward. Sounds like she was so drunk she doesn’t remember how she got to a party or where the party was or how she got home. Somehow she remembered the sex part of it, though.

Question, if this letter is not classified why is it redacted? If it is being used as evidence of a crime then all involved should be able to see it. If ford is lying then this letter could be used as evidence against her.
