FULL TITLE: Gohmert: Dems Fighting Declassification ‘to Protect the Guilty;’ Rosenstein Has ‘Strong Motive’ to Suppress
The reason Democrats and the Justice Department (DOJ) are resisting President Donald Trump’s order to declassify certain Russia investigation documents is that they want to “protect the guilty,” Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-Texas) said Tuesday.
“The reason for the delay has been to protect the guilty,” Gohmert told Fox Business Host Lou Dobbs. “The names are being redacted, things are being redacted to protect the guilty. So, that’s the reason that they’re being redacted. That’s the reason they’re being slow to uncover these things.”
History shows previous declassifications opposed by Democrats, ultimately exposed, wrongdoing, Rep. Gohmert noted:
“Every time we have seen something be unredacted – it wasn’t about sources and methods, we want to protect those – but, every time, it has been self-serving to protect the people who have been violating federal regulations, violating protocol of the Justice Department or violating the law.
“And, so, it’s kind of calling wolf one too many times to be saying, “Gee, this is terrible.” No, it’s transparency, and the American people need to see just how bad the DOJ was weaponized and was utilized.”
Rosenstein has a “strong motive” for keeping the American public from finding out what’s in these documents, due to his involvement in the original Russia investigation and the deal that provided $145 million to the Clinton Foundation, Rep. Gohmert said:

Gohmert is right on target.
Either release all of the ordered documents, unredacted, or be fired, and prosecuted. If the next level refuses, fire them all and move to prosecute.
They either faithfully serve their overall boss, the President, and the citizens or they’ve broken their oaths of office.
No mercy, no deals. ENOUGH!

Dan Bongino explained this thoroughly on the Mark Levin show 09-17-18. He has a book documenting it. Rosenstein is in hot water.
The President has issued the order. Release them in full or be removed and possibly charged.
They are going to stonewall as long as possible.

When have you ever heard of any media source to be critical of any government declassification?
Nearly every media outlet has lawyers on retainer that do nothing but sue and submit FOIA apps to declassify government records.
Why else would the media push for government secrecy, except to protect their leaking sources?
redacting something under false pretenses should be against the law. It should be at least, resisting a court order.
Obama, Comey, Brennan, and the rest, gambled and lost. They did some pretty shady things thinking Hillary was going to win. They are now going to get outed. Trump is making sure it is going to be in such a manner and public display that the slimy cohorts will never be allowed within five miles of government ever again.

Declassifying documents while protecting sources and methods isn’t rocket science. The action should be taken away from DOJ/FBI, et al, however.
Have all the documents turned over to GEN Kelley immediately. Then he can find some Lt Col in the pentagon to clear them.
Refusal to comply is insubordination which is an immediate firing offense in federal service
