Judge Kavanaugh and the left's revenge
American Thinker ^ | September 18, 2018 | Peggy Ryan

The first episode of Alfred Hitchcock's TV series was titled "Revenge."  The story opens with Carl and Elsa Spann, a recently married couple who move into a trailer by the sea.  Elsa has suffered a nervous breakdown, the seaside her therapy.

Carl heads out for his first day at work, and Elsa is baking a cake to surprise her husband.  But when Carl gets home, he finds a smoke-filled trailer; a burning cake; and his wife beaten and assaulted, in a catatonic state. The police have no leads on the assailant, and Carl's frustration and anger build.

The next day, Carl takes Elsa away.  They're driving through town when Elsa points to a man walking on the sidewalk.

"There he is!  That's him!”

Carl parks and follows the man to his room, where he bludgeons the stranger to death.  He goes back to the car and drives away.

Then Elsa points to another man:

"There he is! That's him!"

The scene closes on Carl's shocked expression as he realizes what he's done.

How did this happen?  Well, Carl witnessed the results of the attack, saw proof of the crime.  And he had no reason to doubt his wife, not to believe her.

Sadly, in today's court of public opinion, there doesn't even have to be evidence of a crime.  And the crime need not be current.  Without proof, can a man still be held accountable for committing a crime?  You betcha.

The left demands that all female accusers be believed, a mandate antithetical to the Constitution.  Leftists claim that every accusation earns full credibility due to the "seriousness of the charge," regardless of proof or lack thereof.  So the Democrat media run with the accusation, parading politicians from both sides who gravely pronounce the accusation credible, serious.

Democrats want revenge for Obama's Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland. Republicans, citing the Biden Rule, refused to hold confirmation hearings for Garland and waited for the election to consider a nominee.

Oh, and there's the matter of Trump winning the White House, defeating the Bush and Clinton dynasties and disrupting their coup. They will never forgive, never forget.

Anyone who has eaten Mexican food, has most likely heard of Montazuma’s revenge. LOL

That’s what the Democrat’s Kavanaugh revenge has been like.

Poop everywhere...

This sort of thing should be something that the dems can only pull off once. Because maybe you can fool the people once into getting ourtraged over allegations of actions from 35 years ago with no evidence that are denied by everyone else. Maybe. but if you try it again it's too obviously a tactic and loses credibility. Like I said, this sort of hail mary play should only be possible once.

And yet they already used it against Roy Moore last year and here they are with the same play about to pull it off again. Basically at this point no man can ever be safe from this sort of tactic if this is how it's going to go, and certainly no republican can ever be elected to anything ever again because unsubstantiated claims without witnesses for heinous events that supposedly occurred decades ago can always be "found" to use against them.

At this point, we have to assume that the organized left has concocted scurrilous fairy tales about EVERY person in the courts or elsewhere that Pres. Trump might plausibly nominate to any court or cabinet position. We must assume in particular that they have fabricated exceptionally nasty slanders against all the people on Trump’s “supreme court list”.

The fundamental reality of these tales is that they are 100% false, but sufficiently vague as to make for a great fake news story.

They should all be rejected out of hand ... demoncRATs simply cannot be trusted at all, about anything.

At this point, the Salem Witch trials were considerably more fair than the Senate confirmation proceedings for Judge Kavanaugh:

* In the Salem witch trials, the charges were levied against defendants before their trials began. In the US Senate, the charges have been levied after all witnesses have been heard.

* In the Salem witch trials, the alleged crime (consorting with the devil) occurred in the recent past. In the US Senate, the alleged crime occurred over 30 years prior to its first mention.

* In the Salem witch trials, there were four teenage girls who were witnesses against the accused. In the US Senate, there is only one.

* In the Salem witch trials, there was actual physical evidence of the crimes (shrieking and rolling on the floor by the ‘possessed’ accusers). In the US Senate, there is none.

* In the Salem witch trials, everyone on the jury knew the witnesses and the accusers, so it would have been possible for the jurors to make judgments about the true motives of the accusers. In the US Senate, the accuser has had two months of assistance in scrubbing her entire digital profile from the web to remove every trace of her record.

* The Salem witch trials were held in open court. In the US Senate, the accuser will apparently be allowed to testify in a private, members-only session.

I have heard RUMORS that the DemocRATS have offered to DROP the smear campaign against Justice Kavanaugh IF President Trump HALTS the declassification of the FISA documents. I say NO DEAL! The accuser seems to be nothing but a tawdry, lying slut.

They should delay the final confirmation of Kavenaugh until the the day after the midterms, then just ram him through (so to speak). Let them gnash their teeth all they want at that point. Dirty trick meets dirty trick.

Maybe I’m wrong but did Hannity just say maybe a special prosecutor on this case? Give us a break if she doesn’t show on Monday have a confirmation vote. The RATS are stalling till after the election. Time for the pubbies to get some balls, the future of the country rests with that seat.

I propose a different narrative ...

Kavanaugh might have been at a party where, by her own admission, Christine Blasey Ford was so stumbling drunk she doesn't even remember the date, the location, or how she got home.

While at this party she stumbled into a sober and gentlemanly Brett Kavanaugh who, recognizing her vulnerability, guided her away from the party and toward a quiet bed room where she could sleep it off. On the way, she puked, leaving a steaming pile of vomit (sort of like this accusation) on the carpet and dribbling bile from her mouth. Brett, stopped in the nearby bathroom and moistened a washcloth with warm water to wipe her mouth. As he lay her down on the bed, she jolts to consciousness and, so drunk that she didn't know what was happening, she struggled, spewing more bile and vomit. Brett again wiped her mouth and reassured her quietly and tried to keep her from falling out of the bed and onto the floor. During her struggle, her shirt had risen up and was in danger of exposing her chest. He chivalrously re-arranged her clothes to make sure she was covered and straightened her out on the bed moving her to the center away from the edge.

Brett then arranged for a friend to take her home when she sobered up a bit so as to avoid her getting in trouble with her parents. And as it turned out, when she got home, she was so ashamed of her conduct and actions, that she NEVER SPOKE OF THE EVENT AGAIN.

This sounds more like the Judge Brett Cavinaugh I watch during the hearings and the Brett Cavinaugh that his high school girlfriends, friends, and peers knew and know.

OR ... We take the word of a confirmed Left Wing Activist who wants desperately to make a name for herself other than as an angry, LOUSY Professor (according to student surveys).

The Salem witch trials were based on “spectral evidence” where the accusers claimed to see demons at the side of the accused. Of course no one else saw the spectre, but none the less the accused were condemned and executed. I see no difference in the accusations against Judge Kavanaugh.
