Former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe lands book deal

Now who saw this coming? < /sarc >

How do these publishers have the funds to continue to give these big book deals? I can't imagine that they're even breaking even, based on how quickly the latest slander and libel books are discounted and then hit the "Bargain Bins".

Most people tend to agree that the publishing ‘racket’ in the past fifty years....has developed into a game where you own other companies, and use their ‘profits’ to support your book empire. Like you say....various books end up in the bargain bin for $4.

I just can’t imagine more than 40,000 people really having an interest to read over Andrew McCabe. I wouldn’t offer him more than $75k for a book deal.
