“Muslims” do not necessarily believe anything. That would make them heretics , agnostics,or athiests just like it would for people born into other religions like Christianity or Judaism.
That is a problem all beliefs in supernatural beings have.
To me it is a bigger problem in Islam because to follow the basic religion is so demanding , not leaving much time for worldly endeavors. _ Tom

They do what they are told under threat of torture, amputation and death at the hands of their Mullah.
That is not belief.
It's also not true.
Some Muslims are influenced by mullahs.
Others, not so much.
Muslims can be radicalized or de-radicalized all by themselves, without orders from clerics.
