the House Judiciary Committee is voting this week on a bill that clarifies once and for all that courts do not have the power to issue injunctions against abstract policies and statutes outside the parties before that particular court.
They also should clarify that a judge has ZERO authority outside their jurisdiction. If they want to issue an injunction or something that goes beyond their boundaries, they need to apply to whichever court has that authority to make the 'emergency' injunction.
