A ‘constitutional’ amendment banning ‘military style’ weapons. Wonder what a legal, constitutionally worded definition of ‘military style’ will look like?

I don’t have the guide to what an assault weapon looks like handy, but——— Truck tire=assault weapon. Monkey(can I say that?) wrench=assault weapon. You know the drill.

The assault rifle, and its ability to fire approximately one hundred rounds a minute, can be purchased legally with no proof of training, no background check, and no regulations what so ever, said Gail Schwartz, BAWNs chair Try it, Gail. Just try it. I look forward to seeing you in Federal prison.

I may or may not have bought one or even more of those things along with a bump stock and a pile of additional ammo in the last few months. :^)

You can bet they do. The only reason the universal background initiative passed in NV was the vote tally in Clark county/Las Vegas. No other county passed it but-------- Lucky for us that the assclowns that pushed it screwed up and it is currently unenforceable. DOH! 🔫👹👍🏼

morgan is the lawyer pushing to legalize pot. (so insurance companies will have to pay for accidents caused by driving while high on pot. no criminal act to prevent insurance)
His firm has also sent groups of lawyers to be trained in “pot law” for all the injury claims.
He is stymied by FL’s stand your ground law which precludes lawyers suing people who defend themselves.
Assuming this is that morgan....

Yes. After we moved I didn’t think I’d see his smarmy face ever again but lo and behold, his mug popped up in some class action law suit ad all the way out here in NV. Yikes!

Or does assault weapon=any semi-auto?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That is exactly what they are aiming for.
A mini-30 is just as deadly as an AR-15, maybe more because it uses a round that is twice the bullet weight, but was not banned the last time.
There are lots of rifles that are less scary looking that are more deadly.
The M-1 Garand for example.
GWB relied on the Supreme Court to knock down McCain-Feingold.
I will never understand a President signing a bill he thinks in unconstitutional.
He really was a putz.
Don’t be so sure of that - e.g. Kali-Fornia has outlawed them. There has, to the best of my knowledge, been no court challenge.
